Liberal TV host Bill Maher is reportedly going to visit the White House to meet President Trump. This is kind of amazing.
Maher has had Trump Derangement Syndrome for years, although, to his credit, he has been a little bit better in recent months than he was during Trump’s first term.
The big meeting is apparently being arranged by Kid Rock, who is a Trump supporter and has repeatedly appeared on Maher’s show.
Who knows? This could end up turning Maher around. President Trump has a great record of changing people’s minds when they get a chance to meet him in person.

Bill Maher reveals he’s going to meet Trump at the White House
Liberal comedian Bill Maher will soon be meeting President Donald Trump at the White House, Fox News Digital has learned.
Maher revealed to fellow comedian Andrew Schulz that Maher agreed to Kid Rock’s offer to introduce him to his political foe, in an exchange that will air on Sunday’s installment of Maher’s “Club Random” podcast.
“Kid Rock was here a couple of weeks ago, and he said, ‘I want you to meet Trump.’ He said, ‘I’m gonna take you to the White House.’ So now we’re gonna do that,” Maher told Schulz.
Kid Rock was a guest on Maher’s HBO show “Real Time” last month and is a strong supporter of Trump.
Maher has long been a fierce critic of Trump but has stood out among progressives with his criticism of so-called wokeism and calls to better understand Trump’s supporters.
Some of the faithful on the left are already freaking out about this.
If Trump manages to get Maher on his side, millions of heads on the left will simultaneously explode.
We will have to get video of this when it happens.
I think he should try to have good relations with all foreign leaders.

I thought it would be a disaster when Maher appeared on Gutfeld, but he was civil and sounded reasonable.

Waste of time on the Presidents part. Why give this jerk a platform. Our President has too many other things to like save out nation from being destroyed than to meet with a leftist hater who pretends to have an open mind. For every pro to a meeting like this, there is a con. Just not worth it imho.

Maher used to be a LOT worse. He has enough rational thought to be persuaded to leave Rat Communism behind and flip.

It does Trump no harm to meet with his enemies even vile pukes like Maher.
Trump once said if he only met with people who liked him he’d talk to only a few people. This will tick off the leftists. Maher will be like Jimmy Fallon who “humanized” Trump by tosselling Trumps hair on his show. He’ll have to trash the meeting to keep his bona fides with his audience.
Would love to see President Trump go on the view and leave those hags silent, but with their best ratings ever.

Bill is a loose cannon at the very least. He has a broad but shallow appreciation of both Trump and Conservatism
He can be turned (again) very easily, because he is hooked on media attention. It would be like getting engaged to a prostitute and wondering if she will eventually miss her old life
I always thought the original Politically Incorrect WAS politically incorrect, but then he moved
from Comedy Central to late night ABC and became PC. Ironically, he was canceled by the very PC mainstream media for saying something politically incorrect on a show called Politically Incorrect.
