Liberals often point to regulations as an example of how liberal/progressive ideology makes the world a better place.

For example, there are massive regulations for our food, homes, cars, clothing, electronics, etc. And true, we are safer with regulation than without.

But NOT when the regulations are created by braindead reprobates. These are the CAUSE of the current LA inferno, and these are a reason that it’s impossible for anyone to help who is otherwise willing and able.

Liberal progressives should be in charge of absolutely nothing (except things we want to destroy).

Thomas Sowell said, "You will never understand bureaucracies until you understand that for bureaucrats procedure is everything and outcomes are nothing.

In California everything is solved with another law empowering bureaucrats to act as if they were legislators. The bureaucrats cherish the regulations they create from laws as another person cherishes prize rose bushes. They would never ask the question about whether this makes sense in terms of the situation, and there is no one to answer the question anyway.

Just WAIT until these libs have to start dealing with debris cleanup (it’ll be on them), and then interacting with the regulations ofdifferent county and city building departments to just get started rebuilding their homes.

It won’t be like normal building process where there ae a normal amount of people. There will be thousands all at once, vying for the attention of a few chicken s#it bureaucrats telling them what they can’t do. A nightmare, for sure.

Yet, they’ll continue to vote for the people who destroyed their lives.

"They should have turned around and gone home."

Only after a big FU press conference.

Apparently urgent and emergency situations aren’t recognized when fighting California wildfires.

Since when do you not waive this bureaucratic BS when you are facing an emergency? What morons. If we wouldn’t ultimately have to pay to rebuild it, I’d be tempted to say let the whole state burn.

It’s California so my bet is the number is greater than 1.

California won’t let firefighters take water out of lakes to fight fires because....?

The Soviet-style people running (ruining) California don’t care about reason or logic. It’s about transferring of power from the individual to the State.

I found that New Orleans is still rebuilding after Katrina.

I wonder how many decades it will take before the LA area recovers.

If they recover at all.

One of the greatest shows perfectly outlining bureaucracies was Yes, Minister.

Sir Humphrey was the consummate bureaucrat.

After the arsonist was caught yesterday, check this out:

@RoofKorean7
Defending 3 square miles of Koreatown is different than defending pockets of different neighborhoods throughout LA County.

Locals are going to have to defend their “hood”.
- set up a rotation to control access into the neighborhood. Work in shifts.
- use cellphone tech or short distance 2 way radios to communicate with adjoining neighborhoods and coordinate intel
- watch vehicles with occupants that keep showing up and looking at homes/businesses up and down the street, these may be scouts for a larger group

This may be a time to encourage, financially support, and participate in the Guardian Angels.

I would if I lived in the city. might still send to some money to invest in the future. Still researching.

Hard to feel sorry for these people who continually vote for the idiots that run the state.

This man-made disaster, show casing Democrat incompetence, will force California voters to toss them out and vote in a different set of Democrats.

Exactly! There was plenty of support from CA firefighters - just no water.

The Mayor Bass failures are unlimited. I know the Natl Guard, US Army, Camp Pendleton Marines, Navy, as well as US Forest Service, and a bunch of private companies have.... WATER TRUCKS and WATER PUMPS just for all those places they go without water pipes and hydrants. The assets are out there, but Democrats have no leadership, no management.

Some officious asshole needs to be dragged, behind a fire truck, from Sacramento to LA.

Strapped down securely on a flat bed trailer, of course. /s

Why would you want a firefighter able to pickup more than fifty pounds?

You don’t want the fire truck to have too much emissions while it is fighting a forest fire. Liberal logic.
