As President Joe Biden's term in office winds down, he appears more relaxed, almost relieved. A week after the November 5 election, a broadly smiling Biden invited President-elect Donald Trump to meet at the White House. Both men agreed that the meeting was friendly, and afterward, photos were taken of a still-smiling Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden with Trump. But things do not appear as cordial between Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

Joe and Jill Biden, Harris, and her husband Doug Emhoff all attended the Kennedy Center Honors on Sunday night. But as the Bidens went to their seats next to Harris and Emhoff, they appeared to ignore them entirely. The Bidens did not greet or even acknowledge the vice president and her husband as they took their seats next to them. The Bidens appeared to not even make eye contact. The whole apparent snub made the rounds of social media quickly and created a lot of speculation about the reason for the silent treatment by the Bidens.
Several social media observers made the same comments others have made since Trump's election, including podcaster Joe Rogan, that both Bidens must have “voted for President Trump." Another asked, “What happened to the joy?" referring to Harris's campaign being described as "joyful." That post was answered by this:
“Can you blame them[?] Best case scenario she convinced him she would win, worst case the[y] ousted him so she could run. Either way, they probably feel robbed."
There was also the comment that might have come from a Trump supporter delighting in the schadenfreude of it all, simply stating, “I love how awkward it is for them.”
Things did not seem nearly as awkward for Jill Biden as both she and Trump attended the reopening of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. The two were seen having what appeared to be a friendly chat during the ceremonies. Trump said of their meeting that Jill Biden was “Very nice. She couldn’t have been nicer. It’s politics. You have to get used to it. She was very nice and we had a very nice conversation.”

Trump Dishes on France Trip, Says Zelensky 'Wants to Make Peace,' Jill 'Couldn't Have Been Nicer'
Democrats are experiencing a heavy dose of karma. Joe Biden won the Democrat nomination in 2020, tasked with one job: Be a one-term president and get rid of Donald Trump. He did that. But then he decided to run for a second term, despite his not being up to the job mentally being on full display. When he withdrew from the race in July, Kamala Harris had one job: Defeat Donald Trump. That did not happen. Now, Democrats have been reduced to finger-pointing over who is to blame for Harris's loss.
Biden has also drawn the ire of many House Democrats, many who think that Joe overstayed his welcome and did not drop out of the race earlier. Rep. Jesus "Chuy" Garcia (D-IL) said:
“I think there’s a widespread sense that he took too long to get out and that it made it very difficult for Vice President Harris to run the most impactful campaign."
Added to this is also the decision to pardon the first son, Hunter Biden, after Biden repeatedly said he would not. One House Democrat could not have been more blunt, saying, “I am unplugging from Biden right now."
Is Joe Biden tired of catching the heat for the election loss and blaming Harris for it? Possibly. But in a little over a month, Joe and Jill Biden will return to Delaware. It is pretty clear they no longer feel like they have to play nice.

I’d kind of like to see what happens when the Bidens are next together with Pelosi... and / or with 0bama.
I doubt Biden has any idea what’s going on around him anymore, but no doubt Dr. Jill is po’d at Harris.

As for Comrade Kammy she probably knew where she was but she was too buzzed to give a hoot.
It was kind of strange. Jill and Joe looked right through Kamala and her husband, as though the Harrises were made out of glass, or didn’t even exist. Joe’s got enough brains left to turn his nose up at someone. That, or he’s just copying whatever Jill says to do.
Pelosi, Harris, Obama,Chuck Schumer, George Cloony etc. stuck the knife in Joe’s back. Even in his poor mental state he recognized that Kamala was a horrible choice and immediately endorsed her thus locking her in as the candidate. Joe took a knife in the back and turned it into Karma on steroids against those that stabbed him. Once it was obvious Kamala was the choice the media turned on Biden and he became a non person as if he did not exist. They all got what they deserved, including Biden.
I forgot to add that the left wing media is failing also. Their ratings are in the crapper.
The irony is that Joe Biden first rose to prominence by conducting “the high-tech lynching of [the] uppity black man” Clarence Thomas while Biden chaired the Senate Judiciary Committee’s hearing for Thomas’ Supreme Court confirmation. Now he’s been forced by Obama to accept an inept black Vice President who then unceremoniously bumped him from his reelection campaign.
Joe will not look at her, and he cannot look at himself in the mirror.
Don’t we treat both families like that?
Biden got screwed and now wants to be remembered as the only one who won against Trump.

I think he is cognisant enough to understand a knife in his back. He has been one helluva an SOB through his entire political career. You don’t just completely lose the ability to asshole when required.

It’s hilarious watching George Clooney go ballistic trying to walk back his now-infamous
op-ed piece declaring how much we needed Harris to run since Biden is such a nothing.
Clooney loved being a power-broker, so darn pleased with himself
for forcing Biden out and letting the “joyful black woman” have at it.
Obama really really convinced Clooney “Harris had what it takes.”

And Jill will always have Notre Dame.
Wonder if she’s still in the room for all the important decisions.
