In your opinion, what were the most significant changes that the GOP made (in 2024, versus what they did in 2020) that contributed to the victory?
3. Push to register the never-voted and convince people to get to the polls
2. Increasing GOP interest among those not traditionally considered GOP voters (black vote, Hispanic vote, etc.)
1. Ronna Romney McDaniel OUT > Lara Trump IN
We no longer have so many Flakes, Ryans, Cheneys. They are being replaced with MAGA and tamed Non-MAGA who willnot publicly cross us. The fewer RINos there are, the easier to focus fire and make them know they are unwelcome. Who wants to be Liz Cheney or Adam Kinzinger, earning a paycheck by debasing yourself on national television?
really all the credit belongs to Trump and his grass roots MAGA.
the GOP did next to nothing as i said in another comment.
Good Hunting... from Varmint Al
oh, and for shame, i almost forgot to thank Him. He broke the arms of the enemy in so many ways that are now coming to light.
thank You Jesus!
Got rid of lefist leaning Rino’s that used to be Chairpersons of the RNC and replaced them with Lara Trump and Whatley.
3. The legacy media was shown to be overtly partisan and non traditional means of reaching voters was used
2.The campaign was cohesive and not full of us and them within the campaign, and
Donald had many seasoned campaigners in 2024 vs sycophant campaign staffs. They wanted to win vs getting a book deal.
Speaking for several folks whom I know who quietly voted for Trump (they’re in otherwise fairly Lefty circles)- the biggest thing for them was Trump staying on message with the most basic of questions: are you better off now than you were 4 years ago?
Two of them I had dinner with just last night said the wild-card moment of the first assassination attempt was huge in their minds: they’ve always (been led to by the media) perceived Trump as a fake, a con-man exploiting conservative rubes. But they said seeing him struggling against the Secret Service agents, pumping his fist and yelling “Fight! Fight!” was “quite literally awesome.” They said it made them understand that their is something genuine there. The woman in the couple, who was wearing a pink p*ssy hat all election season in 2020, said it was Trump’s “Bush throwing the first pitch” moment for her- a moment when she realized that he’s an actual leader, which in turn led her to reevaluate her perception of his convictions from fake/manipulative to genuine. She said that stood in harsh contrast to Kamala- it was painfully obvious that she was just saying whatever she thought would manipulate voters.
That same couple both said they found the McDonald’s thing kinda tacky and forced, but also couldn’t help but think that if Kamala had done the same thing, it would’ve been for just a few minutes for photos, with her ‘serving’ her campaign staff pretending to be regular people. They acknowledged that there was simply no faking the huge lines of people who showed up and the fact that Trump was clearly enjoying himself. It was, as with the assassination attempt, a very humanizing moment.
So for me the humanizing of Donald Trump to swing voters and working class Dems was the key. Once he broke through the Dem/Media position of “Don’t listen to him! He’s Hitler! Shun him!” and people actually took a moment to consider his positions on things, it became very apparent to a lot of people he had reasonable positions and values, and Kamala was an empty pantsuit.
Going forward I think we on the Right need to find some way to keep that nasty, dehumanizing rhetoric by the Left suppressed. We’ll win on the issues; the problem is getting people to listen in the first place instead of dismissing ‘literally Hitler’.
We also need to capitalize on the shift in young men, particularly young men of color to Trump in this election. The AWFLs have long claimed to do things on behalf of the ‘oppressed races’, and as such can’t really argue back when those same non-whites vote for Trump because they realize it’s in their best interests. It’s time to jailbreak a big chunk of the electorate from the Dem’s identity politics plantation. Doing so will have massive long-term consequences, especially as the country’s demographics will continue to shift away from caucasians as a majority. Build a coalition of working-class people of all races, and it’ll just be hysterical white liberal women as the core of the Democrat party, and it’ll implode at that point.
There were a lot of third party organizations that were not directly under Trumps control that were mobilizing Trump voters. My wife and I watched Greg Kelly interview a gay Satanist (based on his necklace and makeup) last night who was working college campuses getting voters registered.
He is expanding his operations to include Colorado and Arizona and I thought to myself: “Gee, I never thought I’d be hoping a gay Satanist has time to come to my state to register voters, but here I am hoping for it”.
Trump has been assembling his own team, bypassing the RNC.
Scott Presler has been doing a great job in PA. His best move was registering tens of thousands of Amish to vote.
Elon Musk acquiring Twitter and the decision to go on Rogan were huge. It is my understanding that Barron was part of the decision to go on Rogan. If so, well done.
Opinion
They stopped the steal
Anyone can see that if they aren’t stupid
Like Ben Shapiro is
How can anyone look at the last five elections vote totals and patterns and not see. 81 million effing votes glaring at you in an election Trump and the GOPe won every barometer and benchmark and county etc that always indicates a nationwide victory and set record numbers sane time yet Biden got 81 million votes
It’s ridiculous to deny it
In addition to all the shenanigans we watched with our own eyes that went on for days
I could explain it but some just have their head in the sand like daily wire and honestly most protoconservatives do
This is trumps third win
1. Brought our black and brown brothers and sisters into the fold.
2. Hit every single interview, guest appearance and pod cast available, hostile or not.
3. Lamented the Lawfare at every turn!
4. Took advantage of the unfortunate deaths of Peanut and Fred.
5. Garbage Truck.
6. Bullet to the face.
7. Went back to the place where he took a bullet to the face.
8. Held his ground on abortion being a State issue.
Mine:
1. God answered our prayers in the affirmative.
2. Part of that was, the RNC became Republican again. Lara Trump, Michael Whatley An improvement in voter integrity.
3. Our amazing grass roots. Rome was not built in a day. So many great anonymous Americans doing the heavy lifting for years.
4. X becoming a free speech forum again so we could get our message out. Tik Tok seemed to be helpful as well. Not that they did anything, but, they let us speak and meme! I think this helped us get our message out to our black/hispanic brothers
5. Elon Musk made it ok for the tech bros to be Republican
6. Overwhelming crime with an increased distaste for illegal immigration
7. Hubris on the part of the D party from installing rather than nominating their candidate, blowing off campaigning, and ignoring the real concerns of “their” voters
8. A backlash against the more extreme behaviors of the Ds including the open border but also DEI and mutilating kids, putting men in dresses in charge of our military, putting men in women’s sports etc.
In reading the answers above, also,
9. The whole assassination attempt. How amazing that it became an ADVANTAGE We don’t like assassins. And his courageous response was unscripted and totally amazing
10. Sorry, not to post too much, but also, less conventional media i.e. going on the podcasts etc. Harris when on the one weird perverted one, which was just nutty. Otherwise Trump was the one embracing these outreaches, really communicating.
11. Going back, the incredibly tone deaf narcissism of keeping Biden in when he was obviously out of it. The lying lying lying you just can’t get around it
Laura Trump having boots on the ground observers to prevent 20 million bogus ballots being delivered/counted.
“In your opinion, what were the most significant changes that the GOP made.”
1. Ronna Romney McDaniel OUT > Lara Trump IN
She single handily stopped the steal with over 100,000 poll watchers and over 1,500 election lawyers in every swing state. Because of her, Dems lost millions of voters by stopping the cheating.
That is why Biden and Harris are claiming the election are honest, fair, and open because they know they stole 2020.
AMERICANS HAD ENOUGH OF THE LEFTS CRAP!
But they are stealing the Senate races.
