A Tale Of Two Schools

So this is a quick observation of what I have witnessed over the past several weeks while traveling in Normandy and Holland.

While walking through the American cemetery overlooking Omaha Beach I noticed a group of school children standing around a grave with one child talking. Out of curiosity, I asked their teacher who informed me that it's a class assignment where each student is assigned a name of a soldier, airman, or sailor buried there.

The children are required as part of this assignment to learn everything about the person assigned to them, where they were born, where they conducted training, what was their job, etc.

The teacher said it's to preserve the memories of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

I found the same over in Holland especially around Nijmegen and Groesbeek (Groesbeek was where some of the dropzones were located for the Nijmegen assault).

Compare the above with what our children are taught. They are indoctrinated to hate this country, hate everything this country stands for, hate our culture, hate their own self identity, and have no respect for themselves or others.

I was in Normandy 5 years ago. Very pro American in general from what I could see.

I watched a Catholic School let out for lunch in Malaga this year. Not a fat slob to be found and the girls were very pretty.

Very interesting. Our children probably couldn’t even tell you what happened at Normandy Beach, or where it was located.

I attended mass at a Catholic church yesterday. This happened to be a day when the students at the parish school had a special role, acting as greeters, ushers, even readers. A majority of the students appeared to be Hispanic, Filipino, or African. They were all trim, and none were wearing masks or had pink, green, blue, or purple hair. (In the whole congregation, I saw one person wearing a mask.)

The ethnic composition of the church reflects the changes in my area over the last 40 years. When I moved here in 1987, I would guess it was 90% white. Now, with massive immigration, it is maybe 55% white.

Catholicism is rapidly becoming a southern hemisphere powerhouse.

Think about how it lifted the Italians and Irish in a free-market us of the 20th century.

It can do same worldwide

Wow, that’s impressive. And Robert, I agree with everything you said. It’s just so pathetic.

Our public schools used to be like this. In the 70s in upstate NY, We were taught about all of the important events that made America what it is, and we were taught to be grateful for the freedoms we have. We were taught every patriotic song that exists, like This Is My Country and Grand Old Flag. Sadly, I never hear those songs anymore.

I graduated from Western NYS in ‘66. My experience was like yours.
