President Donald Trump was having a great time working at McDonald's on Sunday.
If anyone else had done it, they probably would have looked awkward. But he looked like he was in his element, especially when he was greeting people at the drive-thru window and handing out orders. This was the "joy" and the fun that the Kamala campaign can't duplicate. The customers and the crowd outside just loved it, and you could tell he was having a great time.
Trump's McDonald's visit was a very clever move.
Here's why:
- He's in Pennsylvania, a critical swing state.
- It's absolutely hilarious -- look at him in that apron!
- He comes off as someone who connects with "ordinary" people.
- You can tell he's having a blast.

The reason? He naturally likes interacting with people, unlike Kamala. But it's also an indication that he'll stop at nothing to serve the people and do better for them. And that he isn't shy about doing any job and that he appreciates workers -- something that we don't see from Harris.

Trump even slipped in a "Happy Birthday" to Harris and said maybe he'd get her some fries for her birthday.

Naturally, MSNBC had a meltdown. They're mystified and can't figure out, why he would be interacting with the working people in Pennsylvania? They really have no sense of how to reach out to people or run an effective campaign, but we already see that with Kamala's effort. This got massive attention and shows just how clueless they are:

What's unstable about working at McDonald's? Are they really going that route to insult the people who work there? Every politician running for office does things like this traditionally.
MSNBC also tried to float Kamala's desperate last-ditch propaganda that Trump was "unstable," which was a silly rebuttal, seeing as he just worked with the folks at McDonald's to serve folks. They really are clueless. Plus, the claim that he doesn't have an economic plan is just laughable, when it's really Kamala Harris who has offered up nothing up but word salads. And they had to slip in the "threat to democracy" mantra, which is a little hard to sell when he's handing out food at the drive-thru.
Bottom line? They just can't deal -- and it's a beautiful thing to see.

Kids who show up dressed like Trump get extra candy. And cuz we're not meanies, so does any kid with them.
This has been a real resurgence of the old style “whistle stop” campaigning. Harris is following the sound bite style of campaigning. She is on stage maybe 10 minutes to provide sound bites for the news cycle. Trump is connecting with people. If he wins it will be because he learned from 2020 that rallies are for the base. It does not bring in new voters. Things like this and his pressers force the MSM to cover him.
If I were Trump, I would fly Michigan Muslim leaders to Mar Lago or meet them all in Dearborn if safe. Talk privately about opportunity and Middle East Peace and hold a press conference. Do the same in Philly with local black religious leaders. Ask candidly all politics aside what do you need from me as the next President. Trump would not only be campaigning in blue areas, he would be going after the RATS base.
Biden was smart the ice cream stops played well with the Everyman base and made soccer moms look at him like a grandpa. Who does not like ice cream? Harris could not pull of the ice cream stops or McDonalds. She is more the S&M or Porn Shop type.

I think the fact it was in PA really irks them. The size of the crowd there was enormous for basically a little town not far from Philadelphia, IMO.
They’re very scared and think PA is a goner for Trump and they are showing it.

Interesting that CNN has become very mute lately. Maybe they don’t want to lose their Affirmative Action funding from the American Gov’t. Seems that is all that is keeping CNN financially afloat. NPR with a picture.
THAT is exactly the message that needs to be sent. Very few people work at McDonald’s for life. For most people, it’s an introductory position to learn life skills that the individual can use for future jobs.
I worked at the McDonalds in Blacksburg, Virginia for 9 months in 1974-5. It was the largest volume McDonalds in Virginia because it was across the street from the dorms. Working at McDonalds taught me a lot. I was working the grill on the night shift. They didn’t give any of the workers any food except leftovers and the end of the night. The manager would leave me in charge while he went in the back to count up the money. I would take a head count of employees and say something like, “drop 5 quarters, cheese on 3 (some didn’t want quarter pounders with cheese). By the time the manager got out there the burgers were on the grill. He’d give me a talking to, but, the next night I did the same thing. I made sure the crew got something to eat. My brother was a student at VA Tech, and needed a job, so I got him on at McDonalds. He came on board making more than me. When I quit, I was offered the assistant manager job. I went home and got a job in a factory, but I treasure my work experience at McDonalds.
So true. She doesn't interact with people very well. How many staffers have quit her. Also, she wouldn't have paid for the meals like President Trump did.
