The town hall was going to end sooner than expected because of two medical emergencies--and the venue appeared to be stifling.
The President's signature end-of-rally song, YMCA, began to play and some people did take that cue to leave. But most stayed inside. They didn't want to go.
The President asked for more music to be played. Everyone seemed to enjoy it, so he asked for another song. "Let's have a concert" he said, or something to that effect. He was never "lost" as the witch claims.
It was unscripted and unplanned, and Trump just let it breathe on its own. It was actually wonderful.
