Massive Shift to Trump of RFK Jr. Endorses Him, Poll Reveals
Daily Fetched ^ | August 23, 2024 | Jason Walsh

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. officially withdrew from the 2024 presidential race this week as rumors swirl that he is about to throw his support behind former President Donald Trump.

Kennedy’s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, revealed on Tuesday that the campaign is mulling over aligning with Trump.

“There’s two options that we’re looking at,” Shanahan said earlier this week.

The first involves staying in the race, or “we walk away right now and join forces with Donald Trump,” Shanahan explained.

Pollster Rich Baris said Trump could inherit a significant portion of Kennedy’s supporters, with surveys suggesting that 40% of Kennedy’s backers would pivot to Trump if Kennedy exits.

That number could jump over 60% with Kennedy’s endorsement, while Vice President Kamala Harris might capture about a quarter of his base,

“I think it was a coronation, it’s not democracy. Nobody voted. Who chose Kamala? It wasn’t voters,” RFK Jr. told ABC News about the convention.

“She [Kamala] went in four weeks from being the worst liability for the Democratic Party to the second coming of Christ without giving one interview, without showing up for a debate, without a single policy that anyone thinks isn’t ridiculous. It’s not democracy.”

Independents have surpassed Democrats in number and even briefly outstripped Republicans as the largest voter group last year, according to Axios.

The cohort has consistently made up more than a quarter of general election voters over the last decade.

The independent label is broad, it doesn’t guarantee uniform support for independent candidates.

Arizona’s independents span a large spectrum of political beliefs, making them a crucial yet unpredictable factor in any election.

However, no independent candidate has ever won a state-level or federal office in Arizona. As both camps prepare for Friday’s events, eyes will be on Kennedy’s next move.

Not trying to be a downer but I’m putting my pessimism to the test:

I predict rfk will disappoint us today.

Prove me wrong Bobby.

There is a reason why Trump (except for a brief 2 weeks) didn’t attack RFK Jr and even adopted some of his key policies in regards to food freedom, financial freedom and medical freedom. I would love to see RFK Jr as secretary of home and health services.....or maybe head of the CIA. He also wants to severely prune back the State Department and abolish USAID which his uncle started.

Yes, there are areas where I don’t agree with him but on many many issues, he is an ally rather than an enemy.

I like the See Aye Ay idea, so he can avenge his uncle and father’s deaths and reveal the extent of the agency corruption.

My guess is the CIA would slow walk anything he would try to do with regards to the JFK assassination.

This is what happened. He's right, and it shows how manipulated people have been by the Media and the Democrats.

RFK bringing independent voters to Trump is a huge debacle for Harris.

It’s already leaked he will support Trump. Dead cat bounce, leftist pundits see Curry\Halfrican slipping in polls and encouraging her to talk to the press. Honeymoon over, and the Democrats are settling into into the married dingy apartment in Receda. :-) and Curry\Halfrican playbook not working.

RFK’s VP nominee Shanahan is interesting——she became a billionaire through her divorce
from Google founder Sergey Brin. Buzz is the split was caused by her fling with Elon Musk.

Both deny.

A huge plus-——Shanahan talks about an abortion ban.

I don't have my hopes up with RFK jr anyhow so whatever he does positive with regard to Trump today will be a bonus.

I would be most suprised if he went back on his hands and knees to the Democrat Party however. They have treated him awfully during this campaign season, shutting him out of the primaries (forcing him to run as an Independent) and then fighting tooth and nail to keep him off ballots for the November general election - all in the name of "democracy", I suppose.

In addition, they mock him and they even went to far as to trot out some of the Kennedy family members to effectively "disown" him.

The irony in all this is that it seems that RFJ Jr. was pulling more votes from the Trump camp then the Democrat camp in this election cycle. So if they end up driving RFK into the arms of Trump, as many are saying may happen today, this may well make the difference in November.

Finally, RFK Jr. is only on our side on maybe 20% of the issues. Otherwise, he's a hard core leftist. So if Trump take him into the Adminstration, I hope it is a very narrow role and focused on the 20% or so that we have in common.

This is an absolute disaster for Democrats. Political royalty like a Massachusetts Kennedy supporting Trump. Like when Colin Blow Powell endorsed Obama. About the same effect.

Not counting chickens, but going back 9 months, the Trump campaign was pretty moribund.

Ex wife to Google cofounder aligning with Trump ?? What does it say about the cofounder (Brin) ? I remember him lamenting Trump’s victory in a group meeting in 2016.

Yeah, I look at it as a all hands on deck moment. This woman can not be president.

Seeing the Democratic convention, ‘a convention about nothing’, and knowing Harris is just more of Biden, but without even experience to justify her election... eh, we can’t allow another barely over the finish line ‘victory’ for the dems.

They are too drunk on power, too extreme and need a real humbling for all the nonsense they’ve been pulling this election cycle.

With the Dee O J, efF B I, and Sea I A, et al, incontestably complicit in countless criminal activities ranging from fake dossiers, to raiding Trumps home to his own assassination attempt, how can anyone of sane mind actually believe the Steal 2.0 hasn’t already been pre-orchestrated?
