Not trying to be a downer but I’m putting my pessimism to the test:
I predict rfk will disappoint us today.
Prove me wrong Bobby.
Agree! So when is this supposed to take place today?
RFK Jr. on the convention: “Who chose Kamala? It wasn’t voters. In four weeks she wemt from being the worst liability for the Democratic Party to the second coming of Christ without giving one interview, without showing up for a debate, without a single policy that anyone thinks isn’t ridiculous. It’s not democracy.”
It’s already leaked he will support Trump. Dead cat bounce, leftist pundits see Curry\Halfrican slipping in polls and encouraging her to talk to the press. Honeymoon over, and the Democrats are settling into into the married dingy apartment in Receda. :-) and Curry\Halfrican playbook not working.
I would be most suprised if he went back on his hands and knees to the Democrat Party however. They have treated him awfully during this campaign season, shutting him out of the primaries (forcing him to run as an Independent) and then fighting tooth and nail to keep him off ballots for the November general election - all in the name of "democracy", I suppose.
In addition, they mock him and they even went to far as to trot out some of the Kennedy family members to effectively "disown" him.
The irony in all this is that it seems that RFJ Jr. was pulling more votes from the Trump camp then the Democrat camp in this election cycle. So if they end up driving RFK into the arms of Trump, as many are saying may happen today, this may well make the difference in November.
Finally, RFK Jr. is only on our side on maybe 20% of the issues. Otherwise, he's a hard core leftist. So if Trump take him into the Adminstration, I hope it is a very narrow role and focused on the 20% or so that we have in common.
I predict rfk will disappoint us today.

I was just about to post something like this.
I’m not predicting that he will do this, but I am just suggesting that you should get yourself ready for a surprise twist.
The guy has been a democrat his whole career (so far as I know).
His family are entrenched democrats.
He is a big lefty on environmental issues, and while I personally actually love nature subscribe to the idea of both humans and the environmental destruction and chemical polution (I don’t believe in the CO2 myth though), it is hard for me to fathom that someone like that doesn’t think the republicans are somehow evil, and never would join with them.
Also look at the timing. The democrats just had their convention. The media and the convention coverage gave Kamala the boost that they were very tentative wouldn’t happen. So look for someone like RFKjr. to possibly be a bandwagon jumper.
Trump would not have played up the “surprise” if RFK did not accept the offer. That would be stupid.
