Say, whose honeymoon is this, anyway? Supposedly, Kamala Harris has "totally upended" the race with The Anointment and the media's rush to proclaim the advent of "Kamalot." Also, Donald Trump only has a ceiling in the mid-40s and can't possibly win an outright popular-vote majority, especially with such a Historic Candidate™ as an opponent.
Or so analysts thought. According to a new Harvard-Harris CAPS poll, Donald Trump leads Kamala Harris 52/48 with leaners, and 48/45 without. Harris has improved Joe Biden's numbers on the latter, but not the former:
[cut]
Even the unsure voters are breaking toward Trump, at least somewhat. The more worrisome data for Democrats are in the charts below, however. Trump holds Republicans to the ticket better than Harris holds her own party in both formulations. In fact, her 87% without leaners should be a red flag for the DNC, suggesting strongly that the party is not as sold on The Anointing as the media claims, even with the full-court press on Kamalot!
Take a look at the indie numbers, too. Trump leads by six points without leaners -- and six points with leaners. One has to wonder whether the sample tilts a bit toward the Dems based on those results plus the party loyalty numbers above. If so, Trump's still scoring an outright majority over Harris, who's attractiveness as a candidate is at its zenith before she's forced to open her mouth about policy.
In the next slide down, we see even more demographic red flags ahead for Harris and the Dems. Trump leads by 12 among men and only trails by four among women 44/48. Trump also wins an astounding 25% of the black vote and 44% of the Hispanic vote, which is slightly lower than in some other polling.

This wasn’t widely reported earlier.
this looks suspiciously like a Harvard-Harris poll released last Monday, July 29. Hence it is not “new”. Sorry.
This is the newest one. And why I said it wasn’t widely reported EARLIER.
hmmm, if Trump has a lead in the popular vote, that looks good for his chances in the swings states that decide this, however, state by state polling still tells the fuller story.
Is the OVER 50% number the key to this report?
“This is the newest one. And why I said it wasn’t widely reported EARLIER.”
Hot Air article is dated July 30. This isn’t a “new” poll”.
Thanks. Released when?
It’s THEIR newest poll. RIF. They don’t do one every day. It wasn’t widely reported and Trump reached a new high for his polling. Dishonest pollsters are suppressing polls again. That is all.
Meh
Should be 80%
Pollsters be full right to top wit boolsheet, Mon.
She ain’t black, she is South Indian....Tamil.
Call her Tamila, not Kamala,
This is the one released July 29.
old poll
It was released on Tuesday the 30th and So 3 days ago. Nothing happens on the weekend. So that’s what we have. It is the NEWEST from Harvard/Harris and is only 1 day older than the NEWEST poll on RCP from Rassmusseum which has Trump +5. Daily Kos is not a legimate pollster. NOBODY on here posted that Trump got to 52% and it wasn’t widely reported elsewhere.
If Kamala was at 52% a half of dozen of you stupid ***** here would have gotten very excited and posted on this several times and there would be hundreds of comments of you all pearl clutching and hyperventilating saying Trump is going to lose.
It would have been headlines on every unhinged leftwing website. Drudge would have capitalized red words everwhere: Kamala Harris back!, like she got a new paint job or something.
This is an important report. I know what I am posting. Back to painting, oilpainter.
NO it’s not.
Doom porn clowns only like negative news. For that reason they ignored Trump at 52% for 3 days and now downplay it saying it is old news without menting it was never posted here. While others downplay what HA has revealed, I do not … good piece from HA.
I love the poll and was already aware of it, I had originally hoped this was a newer poll than this one I was already aware of days ago, since I just polling sites 20 times a day.
