Cost of Illegal Immigration Soars [semi-satire]

During their presidential debate two weeks ago former President Trump asserted that "Biden is destroying Social Security. Millions of people are illegally entering the country and he's putting them on Social Security and Medicare. This will wipe out these programs." Biden's response during the debate was "we beat Social Security."

Social Security was originally sold to Americans as a plan where they paid a share of their wages while they were working in order to receive benefits when they retired. But Democrats have made so many revisions to the program that people who have never paid anything into the program and are not citizens can receive benefits.

By law, people who have entered the country illegally are not eligible to receive Social Security benefits. However, if they are paroled into the United States while waiting for their cases to be heard--as they are under Biden's "catch and release" policy--they are considered to be here legally and are eligible to receive Social Security's Supplemental Security Income benefits on the grounds that they are unemployable because they can't understand English, have no marketable skills, and no education.

The first leg of their journey to a lifetime of welfare dependency is the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The original purpose of this agency was to provide assistance in the case of natural disasters like floods, hurricanes, and earthquakes. Now FEMA is providing aid to communities that have declared themselves to be sanctuary cities or states for persons who have illegally entered the country. In FY 2023 the cost was $360 million. In FY 2024 it is $650 million. The requested funding for FY 2025 is $3 billion. Acting Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Adrianne Todman explained "when you're putting these people up in hotels at $500 a night per room the costs run up pretty fast. With millions more newcomers every year annual bills in the multiple billions are projected."

A Statistics Canada study has found that 72% of government-sponsored refugees still rely on welfare programs two years after arrival, and 35% are still dependent after ten years. Trudeau should explain how this helps any country

illegal aliens drive down wages and drive up the cost of everything else.

And here is why. If millions of illegal flood in and will work for less than an American citizen, employers will hire them to save money or ask citizens to work for the same lower wage.

They drive up the prices of everything because of simple supply and demand, the more demand the greater the price of anything, that is just basic economics.

So food, water, energy, gas, rent or whatever ALL costs more when millions more people that are here illegally are driving up demand.

Another drain on S/S by conniving illegals——not satire.

News report: As part of a 10-month investigation Scripps News uncovered that every year, thousands of migrant children “disappear” from their homes shortly after arriving in the U.S. But there is no clear local, state or federal government agency taking responsibility for searching for many of those missing ...(April 2, 2024)

This is so bogus-——the kids arent missing, they are loaned out, passed around to other migrants. to be used in lucrative scams to get tax dollars from S/S and hefty disability checks.

Biden overturned Trump’s wise order to get the DNA of these so-called “needy families,” to make sure the kids are really theirs.

A common practice by these greedy illegals is getting a crooked doctor to say a kid’s “autistic” b/c they get hefty SS tax paid benefits every month for the kid.

The maximum possible disability benefit for autism in 2024 is $943 per month for SSI and about $3,822 per month for SSDI. These maximums apply regardless of what condition you have or whether you apply with one condition or multiple. The actual amount received depends on specific circumstances. (Dec 7, 2023)

Disability Living Allowance (DLA) is a key benefit for children under 16 living with disability, including autism. It is assessed according to care needs, and a diagnosis is not required to make a claim. DLA helps cover the extra costs of raising a child with a disability. (Jan 30, 2024)

And it’s a sure bet they invent their “family circumstances.”
