God intervened and protected President Trump.
President Trump told former White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson that a last millisecond head tilt saved his life after a gunman opened fire on him from an elevated position at his Pennsylvania rally.
Trump told Dr. Ronny Jackson that he turned his head to the right to look at a chart on illegal immigration statistics when a bullet grazed his ear.
“That chart that I was going over saved my life,” Trump said to Ronny Jackson by phone just hours after the attempted assassination, according to The New York Times.
“The border patrol saved my life,” he said. “If I hadn’t pointed at that chart and turned my head to look at it, that bullet would have hit me right in the head.”

You’re assuming he took the time to aim, the fact the snipers jumped would imply he did some variation of point shooting. Popped up from behind roof line and took a rough aim hoping something would make contact with Trump. If he took time to aim, he would have been dead before he fired
The “took time to aim” is based on his being visible for several minutes to the man interviewed by the BBC.
Not if there was an order to not shoot first. There’s always that possibility from the management level of SS, under a Joe Biden appointee assembled team.
Maybe he turned into it instead of away from it?

You have a valid point about the gunman, but I still am having a hard time understanding how two professional snipers less than 300 yards away did not neutralize the shooter before getting a shot off.
He needs the camouflage MAGA hat.

Yes it was and even better, PDJT acknowledged at 7:36 am that ‘it was God alone who prevented the unthinkable....’. I have no doubt that we have divine intervention happening daily.... it’s another thing to have God acknowledged as being great, above us all and in control and all He had to do with nudge that bullet a 1/4” and it was done.
There was a rumor that a police officer went to see the roof with the reported shooter. He can onto the roof and the shooter pointed the rifle at him. The officer ducked back down, supposedly. If this is true the possibility that the shooter was spooked and shot fast also adding to the missed bullet with the president tilting his head. The shooter was on school rifle team. A trained shooter with a good zero will usually not miss at that range if they have time and 556 is pretty flat at that range. Spooked with snap shooting it’s easy to pull the shot wide.
This is speculation based on one report so I will please the report on low confidence but whatever made him not hit his target is all right by me.
There was a pause between the first shot and the latter shots? this could explain that? the awareness of someone behind you can distract might have affected the first shot?
Or a cop crawls up a ladder and doesn’t immediately start firing!!!!
