Biden said this week that he is going to wipe out everyone’s medical debts. “I’m going to end medical debt. We’ve already made sure medical debt can’t be put on your credit report. We can wipe out medical debt for pennies on the dollar.”
The only way to do this is to tell companies they won’t get paid. Does he realize he will bankrupt the companies? If people think the system is problematic now, just wait.

Government has no right to interfere in private contracts like that, and especially after the fact. It can pay the debts, but good luck passing that in Congress.
Don’t get me wrong, medical care is WAY too expensive, but that’s because of prior and continuing government interference in the marketplace.

Medical debt hits your credit report as soon the medical group sells your debt to a collection agency. Let’s be honest here!

My friend went bankrupt 20 years ago and even now, the doctor who got stiffed won’t see her..... The hospitals,doctors etc will have everyones name and won’t be able to find time to “”see them””.....

Not precisely correct. If you contest a medical bill in writing then it is against the law for the provider to turn you over to collection or report you for non-payment.
The key is a written document sent via FedEx or certified return receipt mail politely contesting the charge and stating the illegality of such repercussions.

I speak glibly, but if the Democrats “find enough ballots” in November, they will have all the power in the world. What is anyone going to do about it? The GOP? The states? The courts? The people?
