Prominent antisemitic conservative Candace Owens has ignited a storm of controversy with new remarks about World War II and the Holocaust, in which she essentially defended Adolf Hitler and infamous Auschwitz mangler Joseph Mengele.
In a YouTube episode titled, “Literally Hitler. Why Can’t We Talk About Him?”, Owens downplayed the atrocities committed by Nazi Germany while criticizing the Allies’ actions post-war. She questioned the taboo surrounding discussions about Hitler, saying, “We have been indoctrinated and we actually know nothing about the person other than the fact that we must fear him.”
Owens suggested that education about Nazi Germany is a form of indoctrination, comparing it to “Soviet tactics of introducing really heavy concepts to kids while their brains are developing because you want to traumatize them.” She claimed this was done to ensure compliance with a narrative portraying Hitler as “the greatest evil that’s ever happened on earth, even though factually and statistically it is not. Why is he the most evil?”
Owens made further controversial assertions regarding the Allies’ actions after World War II, alleging they “ethnically cleansed 12 million Germans… in the exact same [concentration] camps that we then transferred the Germans into so that we could mass kill them.” She described the Holocaust as “an ethnic cleansing [that] almost took place,” while asserting that the Allies “actually did [an ethnic cleansing].”
Owens also cast doubt on the well-documented medical experiments conducted by Nazi doctor Josef Mengele, describing them as sounding like “bizarre propaganda.” She said, “The idea that they just cut a human up and then sewed them back together. Why would you do that? Even if you’re the most evil person in the world, that’s a tremendous waste of time and supplies.”
Owens drew comparisons between Nazi scientists and US institutions, mentioning the CIA and Planned Parenthood. She said, “We took all of those top Nazi scientists and we brought them to America. I wonder why we did that. Maybe for a little more experimentation. Have you ever heard of the CIA? If you think experimentation is unique to the Nazis, you need to wake up. You heard of Planned Parenthood? They literally tell you to abort your children if they have special needs.”
conservative?
how that?
her racist attitudes and statements long pre-dated her short-term interest in PDJT
and she has since stated very clearly that if she were to run for POTUS or another office that it would ONLY be as a Democrat, nothing else
how does she become a “conservative” in the headline of this article?
“Literally Hitler. Why Can’t We Talk About Him?”
I can think of six million reasons.
Gather ‘round while I sing you of Wernher von Braun,
A man whose allegiance
Is ruled by expedience.
Call him a Nazi, he won’t even frown,
“Ha, Nazi, Schmazi, “ says Wernher von Braun.
Don’t say that he’s hypocritical,
Say rather that he’s apolitical.
“Once the rockets are up, who cares where they come down?
That’s not my department, “ says Wernher von Braun.
Some have harsh words for this man of renown,
But some think our attitude
Should be one of gratitude,
Like the widows and cripples in old London town,
Who owe their large pensions to Wernher von Braun.
You too may be a big hero,
Once you’ve learned to count backwards to zero.
“In German oder English I know how to count down,
Und I’m learning Chinese!” says Wernher von Braun.

I can think of twice as many reasons why we should talk about Hitler. I can think of almost ten times as many reasons why we should talk about Stalin and Mao.
(In a YouTube episode titled, “Literally Hitler. Why Can’t We Talk About Him?”
Uh, because you end up ruining your career.)
“Hitler will emerge from the hatred that surrounds him now as one of the most significant figures who ever lived”.
John F. Kennedy - 1945
yeah i don’t know if this is true, i suspect she’s being mis-quoted/interpreted, but if it is accurate, then it’s not at all surprising: irrational, murderous hatred of Israel and the Jews, resulting in subjugation, genocide, invasion, wars of extinction and conquest, etc., are, since the founding of Israel by Moses/Joshua, the oldest and most common corporate bigotry found throughout the documented history of the world.
there’s a very good reason for this of course, the devil must annihilate Israel and the Jews if he is to defeat Jesus.
Yeah and why would he like totally starve the children and not give them McDonalds and stuff? Adios to your career Cand-ass
Yes. The US govt protected Nazi and also Japanese “doctors” who carried out human experiments so that we could get their research. It was all worthless. Psychos don’t use scientific method or keep useful records.
I thought we took chemists and nuclear scientists as well. Ditto some intelligence officers.
A few people when they come into success or some success can sabatoge themselves due to low esteem. I’m sad to see her do this because she is a quick thinker and good speaker who could have had a career in politics.
Nuclear scientists? Weren’t we way ahead of them on that?
I am just saying, We’ve known about von Braun etc. for a while, and that is open to criticism, but as far as I know, we never accepted the Menegele-type stuff.
~~~
And VonBraun worked for the space program. Something that had aspects of secrecy to it, but nothing like CIA research. Also, the space program became a subject of pride and propaganda for the US during the cold war, so it was the exact opposite of something meant to be kept under wraps.
And then there is the Japenese Unit 731.
IF she said these things, she doesn’t know what the hell she’s talking about.
But then I have never liked her, I think she’s the brown Ann Coulter. An annoying self promoter.
She can’t be that stupid to wonder why we brought over their rocket scientists, can she?
When the German rocket scientists realized that the Nazi’s were going to destroy their work as the Reich was nearing collapse, they hid as much of it as they could. When the allies captured the facilities they showed them where the research and some equipment was hidden. We learned a lot from those documents and equipment.
Some of the scientists ended up in White Oak, MD where they worked for the Naval Ordinance Lab. The NOL is gone, but the hypervelocity wind tunnel #9 facility was turned over to the USAF AEDC and is still in use. A section of the original captured German wind tunnel is displayed there.
You can point to Hitler when the topic comes up about the strange, slow death of Europe.
She’s an idiot. We emphasize Hitler because he was in recent history and led a war to take over the world (along with Japan).
I’m sorry but this is how people like her and Tucker make asses of themselves. They want to be so smart that they question everything as a sign of their independence.
No Hitler shouldn’t be a “taboo” but then he hasn’t been. It’s just that if you know anything about Hitler and the Nazis, it’s very hard to dig out any redeeming value.
Many people have pointed out that Stalin and Mao were as bad or worse.
Sounds like she learned her post war history from episodes of the X-FILES.
Google Erich Traub. There were others as well.
She recently converted to the One True Faith.
