The man knows what he’s talking about. And it’s not the first video highlighting Rep. Ilhan Omar’s mission.
In January, a video went viral featuring Rep. Omar allegedly declaring that “We as Somalians,” the translation describes, are an “organized society”, “people of one blood”, “brothers and sisters”, “people who know they are Somalians first, Muslims second.”
“The US government will only do what Somalians in the US tell them to do,” the translation states. “They will do what we want and nothing else. They must follow our orders.”
“We Somalians must have that confidence in ourselves that we call for the shots in the US… the US is a country where one of your daughters is in congress to represent your interest for as long as I am in the US Congress, Somalia will never be in danger, in waters will not be stolen by Ethiopia… the US would not dare to support anyone against Somalia.”
“Sleep in comfort knowing I am here to protect the interests of Somalia from inside the US system,” she says.
Rep. Ilhan Omar claimed that video was mistranslated.
What about this latest one, via Alpha News, in which Omar stands smiling while former Somali Prime Minister Hassan Khaire states, according to the translation, that “the interest of Ilhan are not Ilhans, it’s not the interest of Minnesota, nor is it the interest of the American people, the interest of Ilhan is that of the Somalian people and Somalia.”
“The success of Ilhan is the success of Somalia.” He then urges Somalis everywhere on the planet to “support and give money to Ilhan’s campaign”
There’s a pattern to these videos. And the pattern is pretty clear.
I wonder what the majority of her constituents in Minnesota think about that.

She would never be elected in Somalia. All her leftwing causes would not go over well. And a lot of the things she does are against Islam.
I had always thought that was a given KNOWN...that everyone could see this. I AM STILL WAITING FOR A BRAVE REPORTER TO ASK HER IF SHE SUFFERED GENITAL MUTILATION as a child and if she would write a law to STOP THIS.
Is the failure of Somalia likewise her failure?
Her district may be mostly Democrat, but they are not majority Somali by a long ways.
I read back the exact statements she spoke, I read them right here from this article and this guy was dodging and weaving better then any pro boxer.

Since the days when we were all outraged over FGM, the culture appears to have decided that mutilating kids sexually is ‘OK’, now.
(But I too would like to hear her answer. Also ask if she has sent her daughter back for the same treatment.)

When I was a grad student I lived in an area in Minnepolis that is in her district. Thankfully, I got out before her ascendance in MN’s 5th, or the mostly-peacuful Floyd riots.
And I also got off the phone with Jefferson Van Drew's office.
He represents the 2nd. district here, Toms River. I work in Toms River.
Their staff members agreed that those were some pretty seriously troubling statements. I said the "US system'' saved her life and this is how she shows her gratitude? Freepers, this little worm is threatening all of us. Call your reps. This is unconscionable.
This is the first bunch to be returned to their SH$$ole country. Legal entrants must swear loyalty. Lacking having down that => deport.
Yah, Sharia allows lying as matter of course. But, falsely swearing allows jail time.
Seemed harmless to some when the “melting pot” ended possibly in the 1970s or 80s. Old: I came from Italy but I am an American. I came from Ireland but I am an American. And so on.
Then: I am actually an African-American. A Hispanic American. And more. And being part of America was over for many people. As a sports announcer said “Many of the ball players are too lazy to bother to learn English so they expect us to consult their interpreters for interviews.”
Now there are gay Americans, trans Americans, feminist Americans and lots more, each at odds with the others and fighting them for advantages and government goodies.
