They announced on Truth Social that McGuire won. Well, at least MTG posted it.

Virginia Department of Elections has McGuire by 315 votes out of over 62,000. All districts reporting just a few minutes ago.
49.75% to 50.25%
Still unofficial.
It’s a republican district run by republicans. It will be fair and accurate. If it was a democrat district, it’d be different.
Conservatives are constantly screaming that the DemoKKKrats have caucus discipline and we don’t. Well, Good endorsed DeSoros and Trump applied discipline by endorsing the other guy.

There is bad blood between MTG and Good because he kicked her out of the Freedom Caucus over her backing McCarthy in the recent speakership fight. Bannon and many MAGA, on the other hand, feel that McGuire's race is part of the McCarthy “revenge tour” and that McGuire cannot be trusted.
Total disclosure: I live in Va; but not in Bob Good's District. I consider myself ultra-MAGA and would have voted for Good if I was in his district. I think this was a tactical mistake by the Trump team that will only serve to split Republicans in VA at the very time we need to coalesce.
Prove that this district has cheated in the past. There’s your answer right there. And if this is a GOPe district as you say, why are we getting rid of a person who’s won the district? He’s apparently 100 percent on the conservative ranking list.

The GoP establishment is as much of the problem as the democrats, the naïveté of folks who believe the political establishment on their side is good but the “other side” is bad are really fools.
The establishment hates Trump, they hate populism, they hate anyone and anything that is a threat to their established order and will do anything I. Their power to stop it.

I think you left out that Good backed DeSantis because Trump was in trouble with “the law”. So he tried to knock off McCarthy and Trump.
I also blame Chris LaCivita who was John's campaign manager for his failed run in the 7th CD. John is always running and is a terrible legislator. Bob has done a great job in the House.
