Sen. Tim Scott appears determined to take himself out of the running to be Donald Trump’s vice-presidential pick.
In an interview on CNN’s State of the Union with host Jon Karl, Scott said he stood by his decision to certify the 2020 presidential election, despite widespread evidence of voter fraud that tipped the election in Biden’s favor.
Here is a transcript of the exchange:
JON KARL: OK. Senator, the day before that violent mob attacked the Capitol, you put out a statement explaining your decision to certify Joe Biden’s election victory.
Do you stand by that? You were not one of those that challenged the results. You voted to certify Biden’s election victory. Do you stand by that?
SCOTT: Certainly. I will stand by that decision

KARL: All right, and very quickly, we’re just about out of time, but you had said that Mike Pence absolutely did the right thing when he defied Donald Trump’s demand to — to not certify that election. Do you still stand by that, that Pence absolutely did the right thing on January 6th?
SCOTT: The Constitution is clear. What we’re trying to focus on is how do we make sure we get four more years where the American people, particularly kids like me, growing up in poverty, have the best future we could possibly have.

Once the objections started with AZ the “ insurrection “ happened. Planned.
AZ, GA, MI, PA and WI were going to be contested. Required Pence to take each objection and call for a televised 2 hour debate I each chamber.
That was instantly stopped.

The truth will or already has come out, but the American people will remain confused as to what happened with an election characterized by fraud.

Some people think we are still going to vote our way out of this, when there are no penalties for fraud and people have the green light to commit it.
It is possible that we may be able to vote our way out of this.
If 80% of real voters vote for Trump.

What does the Constituion say about the powers of the VP as far as Electoral Ballots?
I see where the Constitution says that the VP hands the ballots to Tellers (Counters selected by Congress). The Tellers count and then send the VP a note saying who won.
The VP asks if there are objections to ballots by each State Delegation in Congress. If there are, Congress votes to accept or reject ballots, the Constitution doesn’t give the VP any say in that.
If anyone finds something different in the Constitution or Federal Law giving the VP power to reject ballots or delay the process, please cut and paste.

He doesn’t have to apologize; an apology would be a joke. He never should’ve done it in the first place. The fact that he did shows his true character, and the a absolute fact that he hates America. If he were a decent person he would’ve done what’s best for the country on J6.
Plus, he was an ardent supporter of Lisa Murkowski.
