I'm guessing - and it is just a guess - the switcheroo will come later rather than sooner. Dems are likely to figure the shock and relief that will come from knowing Biden no longer has to be defended will cause the far-flung constituencies of the rat party to come back to the ole plantation and coalesce around the new standard bearer. The later that happens the less time Republicans will have to point out the new standard bearer is just another Biden apologist promoting the failed Biden agenda.

And the later it happens the more likely the switcheroo can be ascribed to a totally unforeseen, tragic act nature and not a messy human intervention.
