The jury deliberations began on Wednesday after Judge Merchan instructed them to choose among the three predicate crimes Trump supposedly committed.
Judge Merchan is allowing the jurors to choose ONE of the three predicate crimes. Jurors do NOT have to unanimously agree on which of the three predicate crimes Trump committed.
Of course, this will make it easier to convict Trump.

Juan Merchan doesn’t care if any conviction gets appealed. He doesn’t care about any scrutiny or outrage about his unhinged conduct and lawless orders.
He wants (1) his name in the history books as judge in first criminal conviction of a former president and (2) help his daughter drum up more lucrative business deals with Democrats.

The declaration that the jury need not unanimously agree on a verdict is invalid on its face. He is inventing judicial process that does not exist under the law or the Constitution.
Guess he’s trying to “hit for the cycle” on the reversible error statistic entry in the jurisprudence category.

Republican DAs in Red states should have been indicting high level Democrat Party members over the past year. They all should be in the same fix Trump is in. But they don’t do that because they are cowards.
No, the jury members are thinking, if they can completely invent stuff and bring Trump to trial over it, what’ll they do to me and my family if I don’t cooperate?

Merchan will be arrested in 2025 and die in prison after a show trial.
