Unfortunately the season is short and there’s little patience. Women’s sports are catty (petty as Barkley said). But if they destroy Clark’s potential they’re toast. Doubt if they care much about anyone but themselves.
The real question is how do you have the rookie of the year AND the first draft pick? They’re not destroying Clark’s potential. This isn’t football, she’s not a star QB that’s going to eat a bunch of grass and lose her confidence cause she’s got no o-line or receivers. She’s still a great shooter, great passer, great reader of the game. Problem is she’s now passing to people that can’t make open shots. Life in the pros. They’ll figure it out.

Clark’s performance evaluation in college is not on the same scale as in the pros. The pros are a different game and selling something different for the seats. But the writer of the article is not being totally up front with Clark’s performance.
Indiana has some problems other than Clark’s work. Clark leads the team in minutes, scoring, defensive rebounds, assists, and foul shooting percentage. But she is getting ball as she also leads them in turn overs, personal fouls, and has a mid range percentage for 3-point shots.

So she is performing at about the best level at this point in her career and is assisting the team into getting into the action. And that’s where teams excell.
Jordan was mentioned by a poster and by using him makes a point about the NBA and pro basketball that some haven’t seen here. Jordan entered the NBA in 1984 but the bulls didn’t win a title with him until 1991. And Jordan wasn’t all that was there for that title. In the final game Jordan scored 30 points. But Scottie Pippen had 32 and John Paxson 20. So it was 7 years in the league before the “team” could utilize Jordan to success and help from others.
Takes time. But with the woke actions of the teams and the lack of “power” basketball the fans want to see going to sustain the league long enough to get that production?
Womens’ basketball at the pro level has failed many times in the US. And the current WNBA is losing money. It all has to get down to the dollar. They’re selling out wherever she goes. But one person doesn’t make a team. And when the “show” gets through the league a few times she won’t draw tourists.

I know there’s a big drumbeat on FR that “the black lesbians all hate her” but out in reality it’s just not the case. If you bother to look at something other than these clowns who are straight up lying you’ll see. I’ve actually watched a game she played, everybody loved her. I’ve actually seen her games discussed on Sports Center, everybody loves her. I’ve actually seen people that cover the sport talk about the effect she’ll have on the game, everybody loves her. Are there idiots out there like Jamelle Hill? Sure. But notice Jamelle doesn’t have a real sports job anymore, cause she’s an idiot.
Away from the idiots on BOTH sides people love Clark and love the attention and money she’s bringing into the sport and want her to succeed. The narrative you see on FR is really only on FR. Even the black lesbians that don’t like her enjoy playing in front of an actual crowd and are smart enough to keep their mouths shut. You could learn from them.

I'm thinking she's being paid to lose. It wouldn't be the first time a professional coach was offered money to lose games, especially now with the proliferation of all these gambling websites and shady bookmakers.
I’m happy that women have the opportunity to make a living playing professional basketball. Their worldviews do not affect me at all. Their sexuality does not affect me.
Just don’t expect me to tune in and watch. I’d rather watch good players.
