Unfortunately the season is short and there’s little patience. Women’s sports are catty (petty as Barkley said). But if they destroy Clark’s potential they’re toast. Doubt if they care much about anyone but themselves.
The real question is how do you have the rookie of the year AND the first draft pick? They’re not destroying Clark’s potential. This isn’t football, she’s not a star QB that’s going to eat a bunch of grass and lose her confidence cause she’s got no o-line or receivers. She’s still a great shooter, great passer, great reader of the game. Problem is she’s now passing to people that can’t make open shots. Life in the pros. They’ll figure it out.
