Judge Juan Merchan has so far refused to release the jury instructions to the public after Bragg’s prosecutors and Trump’s attorneys sparred over the order during a conference earlier this week.

Jury instructions can make or break a case for either side.
Judge Merchan however sided with Bragg’s prosecutor Matthew Colangelo and ruled the jury does NOT need to unanimously agree on the “predicate” crime Trump committed.
The judge made it easier for Trump to be convicted because the jurors don’t have to unanimously agree on what “predicate” crime Trump supposedly committed.

Joe Biden plans to break his vow of silence and publicly address the criminal trials Donald Trump is facing when a verdict is reached, four people familiar with internal deliberations told POLITICO.
Biden intends to initially address the verdict in a White House setting — not a campaign one — to show his statement isn’t political, according to the people, who were granted anonymity to discuss internal deliberations.
If the jury convicts Trump, Biden’s team will then argue that the result shows Trump is ill-suited for office and that it demonstrates the extremes to which the former president would go to win again. The campaign’s social media team is considering leveraging the line of attack further, with discussions underway about referring to the ex-president online as “Convicted Felon Donald Trump.”

Whew, that sets my mind at ease. I was afraid that Biden would use the Kangaroo Court Trial in his campaign, but as long as he addresses the verdict from the White Hut, all is well.

Sounds like a bad idea for Biden’s campaign. What is he going to do? Gloat ? A lot of people already assume the White House is behind the Lawfare against Trump. I assume he will use this as an excuse to weasel out of the debates.
This will cause him to sink lower in the polls , which I suppose doesn’t matter if you can take your opponent off the campaign trail (and cheat)
He has zero powers of persuasion. No one likes Biden.
Because he already knows the verdict the judge is going to tell the jury it’s fine to convict trump even if you can’t find an actual crime he did it’s guilty regardless welcome to Iran
Never underestimate Joe’s ability to screw things up. I don’t see this playing well for Biden no matter which direction it goes. He’s a putz.
