So, big news hit the headlines recently – the Supreme Court gave Texas the green light to enforce a new law aimed at tackling illegal border crossings from Mexico. But guess what? Mexico isn’t too thrilled about it.
Let’s break it down: Texas has this law that lets the police nab and detain folks crossing the border illegally. It was supposed to kick in earlier, but the Supreme Court hit the pause button for a bit to think it over.
Now, Mexico’s not having any of it. They’re saying, “Nope, we won’t take back anyone Texas sends over.” Their top diplomat for North America straight-up rejected the Supreme Court’s decision, stating that immigration stuff should be sorted between nations, not states.

No, sending illegals to blue cities rewards them by allowing them to remain in the country. Once they are here there is nothing to prevent them from traveling anywhere in the nation, regardless of where they were "dropped off".
Illegals need to be deported with prejudice! That's the only answer.
>Abbott should close all points of entry from Mexico for prolonged and extremely thorough inspections of every single vehicle until Mexico screams Uncle.<
Something similar has worked before. Remember all of the hyperventilating about not getting the ever so precious avocados?

Appeals court overturns SCOTUS.
Mexico is not our friend, never was, probably never will be.
5th Circuit Appeals upholds Federal case, quashes Texas law.
I do. This time make it even more painful.
Every single truck, every single rail car, every single pedestrian, and every single passenger vehicle. Back up traffic all the way to Mexico City.

Texas should build special prisons, just for the illegals. Put those aliens into a small cell and let them rot. /spit
Can’t overturn the Supreme Court.
Y’all got it all wrong deport every illegal male over the age of 12. Women and kids aren’t the problem.
Drop the males from airplanes, they will get the idea really quick.
Seems to me I see a lot less ‘Hecho En Mexico’ labels and much more products coming in from China. Anecdotal I know, but maybe it is long past time to raise tariffs on Mexican imports and fees on wire transfers there.
Yup, a lower court had ruled against the Texas law - the Supreme Ct. refused to intervene, got lambasted for being traitors.
Appeals court upheld Texas law (for now). Biden tried to get the Supreme Ct to intervene - Supreme Ct. refused and are now heroes.
Takeawy, the Supreme Ct. wants cases to go through the normal appeal process, otherwise why have lower courts?
If they crossed the MEXICAN border to get here, they are obliged to take them back. MEXICO let them through. They cannot refuse to take them back.
“Supreme Court rules in emergency order that Texas can arrest and deport Illegal Aliens.”
It didn’t even take 12 hours for this ruling to be put on hold by an appeals court.
It sounded great yesterday evening, then this AM the ruling had been changed. TX “can not” arrest and deport. Ho hum, this is so dumb.
I agree with another poster on the forum, Abbott should close the entry ports into TX and SLOOOOOOOOW walk the inspection process for trucks and buses into and out of Texas.
One bus per 6 hours? One truck in the same time? Yea, Mexico would be pissing frijoles over that choking affect on the border!
Thank you for the ping!
The Supreme’s did good again. Although in forcing it is an uphill battle.
Mexico has a point. The feds have huge facilities inside Mexico to stage and orderly herd illegal immigrants to specific locations along with the cartels.
Not so fast.
A lower court has just reversed the SCOTUS decision.
Yup...see link at Post 35.
