I have always thought it would be Michelle.
I think they may actually try to sell her as “an outsider” because she is not a politician, and has often said she does not want to job. Since so much of the country hates Washington and hates politicians, she might seem appealing. Of course, any thinking person would understand that Barack would run the country if Michelle were elected, so you do nit get “an outside” and you do get “a politician”.
I also think she would love to stick it to the country. She might get elected and go on vacation for 4 years. “Screw you. I’m giving you nothing.” Barack could run everything right out in the open and I think the country would shrug it off. Because we don’t seem to be a republic focused on the Rule of Law, but we do seem to be an oligarchy that calls itself “Our Democracy”.
I thought they’d put Harris in about a year ago.
So, is there a milestone that the Dems have to replace Biden before he has more than half of the primary electors? It’s more complicated than that, I believe, but essentially, before the convention someone else can appear on the ballot and get enough votes to be the Dem nominee, without “un-conventional” means?

OK, the theory is that Joe Biden is a mere puppet.
If that’s the case, why don’t the puppet masters remove him?
Given the way the Deep State operates with the cooperation of the Uniparty members, here’s a thought:
1) If Biden does drop out...or even just drop to the ground. Someone will have to ride in to save the day. Time is ticking down, and once the convention happens...then what? There isn’t a lot of time between the convention and the general election to hold a primary in every state to determine who will be the next Democrat candidate. Depending who that individual is, could present an interesting dynamic of what the Deep State is planning.
2) The house of cards we are sitting in has to collapse at some point. I just don’t see the alternative. What if the plan is put up a front opposing Trump, and then basically let him assume office to finally let the house of cards collapse. Thereby pinning it all on Trump, and claiming this is what happens when a non-politician, loose cannon is give control. It could also reinforce a narrative that the first term was just a fluke and that he just got lucky.
Given the current situation with the vast amount of debt people have taken on: new records for credit card debt, car loan delinquencies, an economy that for every normal person seems to be gasping for every breath, etc. Let’s not forget the number of invaders flowing across the border daily, of a multitude of nationalities. And some of those nationalities are not known to be U.S.-friendly.
There is already talk of the next pandemic and what to do then. I think Covid was the test run to see how people across the globe would react and adapt. They now have a better sense of where the resistance will come from and will need to have an even more extreme issue to get many more to line up willingly.
They have already proven that they can steal elections. And since they control both the arm that investigates and prosecutes, what’s really going to stop them from doing it again if they choose to do it again?

The cabal that actually runs the Biden Presidency have power and influence due to Biden being the frontman. The same cabal has power within the conspiracy commonly known as the Democrat Party.
Those who seek to replace Biden must either overpower or placate the puppetmasters and a phalanx of Biden appointees and bureaucrats. This group will want to keep the imbecile in place, unless they are assured the replacement will retain them and give them the free rein to which they are accustomed.
“Outsiders” like Newsome or Whitmer would bring in their own mafia. Michelle Obama might fit the bill perfectly from the cabal’s perspective. But, having no qualifications herself, she would have to run as Obama’s fourth term, emphasizing continuity with the crap and buck idiots many voters are fed up with. Trump would need to convince the public that she was a Biden II/Dem insider or worse. MO has a temper, and no poker face at all. She could probably be triggered unto showing her nasty side, and complete lack to presidential self-control. I think she would self-destruct under pressure. Dem insiders likely know this. It’s a real shame they have such a dilemma.
It’s been obvious that Newsom is the nominee for more than a year.

1974 DNC convention loosed Jimmah Cahtuh as the dark horse candidate.
She has only one of the two required attributes. She's dumb as a rock so manipulating her like demented Joe is no problem. The problem is she is unelectable.
If Michelle were to be installed as president, she’d be the frontperson for Barak, which many might find acceptable.
But she wouldn’t do well on the campaign trail where she’d have to debate and answer unplanned questions.
And I doubt that she could make us believe she wanted the job.
Well, he and his friends can project that sh#$ all they want, but she's never gonna take that on! Best case, for them, is talk her into the now cushy VP role then shoot the old horse, to force it upon her. She's a lazy woman of un-earned privilege; another unqualified token who, luckily, had asserted to the powers that she will not take the job.
If Biden were willing to step aside willingly, he would have done it already. Just like a lot of elderly people with serious cognitive decline, he is stubborn, and digging in. A forced withdrawal will require seriously damaging him, and many of the options would damage the party in general.
That doesn’t mean it won’t happen. Putting off the deed allows the party to rip the band-aid off at the convention, dumping Harris and installing Newsom. But that could get bloody.
There’s always the “Carnahan Plan”. Biden dies suddenly in October, and the DNC announces the poor widow Jill will replace him should Joe win the election. This might actually be the best hope the Dems have.
