Knittnmom collapsed Saturday evening with what she thought were severe back spasms. The pain was bad enough she was screaming, and my mother NEVER screams!
We took her to the hospital, where a CAT scan revealed bleeding from her descending aorta. More scans showed an aneurysm right where the aorta connects to the heart, and some kind of problem with one of her heart valves. While they were trying to get the different teams coordinated so they could do surgery, she suffered a minor stroke. Surgery is being put off while they figure out what needs done and in what order, and while they try and get her stabilized.
If that wasn't enough, this afternoon she had a weird reaction to one of the medications.
Doctors still sound optimistic but things keep happening that they don't expect, so I'm not sure how reliable that is. It keeps getting more and more terrifying.

please send Him to this family in need of sound and immediate medical treatment for their beloved Mom. You Lord, be Wisdom, Faith, Righteousness and Peace for all concerned. Guide and Protect all from error and missteps in her treatment. i ask for complete for complete healing for Mom, let her mind and body be restored that she might know Your Glory. Your Will be done. In Jesus’ the Great Physician’s Holy Name i ask. Amen.

I am praying for your Mom, Ellendra, and for you. Do your best to trust in God to carry both of you, and the rest of your family through this trial.
I know how hard this is. You can do it, because He is here with us, knows all, and holds us close when we are walking this rocky path, in the shadow of death, but He will comfort us, and be with us so we are not alone.
Also, you are surrounded by all of us Freepers who are also praying for you and your family in this difficult time.
