Glue traps are boards of various sizes covered in strong glue that are a popular alternative to snap traps for indoor control of rats and mice. Glue traps are banned in a few countries, mainly in Europe. The California city of West Hollywood banned glue traps in 2023.

The push for glue trap bans is being led by the radical leftist group PETA which claims several large retailers have stopped selling the glue traps as well as companies and institutions that have sworn off using them.

Lieu’s main objection is that the glue traps are cruel to rats and mice

Wonder if we could put a giant glue trap down at our southern border

The “Rats” want to make sure they’re taking care of “their own”.

Cities should round up all their rats and ship them to PETA. They will euthanize them and save the taxpayers the cost.

All this because his mistress freaked out over a glue stuck rat at 3:00AM, creating a crisis that almost got him caught.

Lieu didn’t complain about the Chinese biolab in Reedley, CA being cruel to rats. Maybe he had a financial interest

Be humane, use a live trap and a bucket of water. Easy peasy, fast, and cheap.

Well, it seems the man has his priorities in order. I’ll continue to use them here on the farm, they are the best way to catch pack rats, filthy varmints chewed up the wiring harness on my daughter’s pickup. $450 dollars.

I use glue traps because they are less of a danger to pets and grandchildren. When I find the offending creature has been trapped, I humanely give that animal the shovel of death.
