The opinion of the Colorado Supreme Court is so sweeping that it would allow for tit-for-tat removals of candidates from ballots

The Colorado Supreme Court has issued an unsigned opinion disqualifying Trump from the ballot: "The sum of these parts is this: President Trump is disqualified from holding the office of President under Section Three; because he is disqualified."...courts.state.co.us/userfiles/file…

...This ends a string of losses for advocates of this dangerous novel theory. They finally found a court that would embrace what the court admits is a case of "first impression." My first impression remains that same. The court is dead wrong in my view...

...It is striking that the court relies on Schenck v. U.S., where the Court upheld the denial of core free speech rights of a socialist opposing a war. The opinion of the Colorado Supreme Court is so sweeping that it would allow for tit-for-tat removals of candidates from ballots
...The opinion is remarkable in how the four justices adopted the most sweeping interpretations to get over each barrier. The result is lack of a limiting principle. I view the opinion as strikingly anti-democratic in what it now allows states to do in blue and red states alike.

I view the opinion as strikingly anti-democratic

But it's worth it, if it saves "Our Democracy".

I’m telling ya - Texas should immediately move to bar Biden from running because of his dealings with China. There’s far more evidence there than the CSC had for proof of insurrection.

We’re long past the point of being of playing this game diplomatically. Either there’s rule of law or there isn’t. We must meet this judicial activism with our own.

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof

Guess that last part rules out Biden....... "having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress".

Does Trump still count as “innocent unless proven guilty” or did that go out of fashion? Off the ballot for 14th Amendment insurrection but no trial conviction for it?

However, the second some judge says he was guilty of inciting insurrection then the lawfare would succeed.

“We’re long past the point of being of playing this game diplomatically.”

I’m long past any expectation that the GOP will do anything to offend their “good friends across the aisle.”

Texas should immediately move to bar Biden from running because of him opening the border.

And the string of Trump exposures goes on.

President Trump has just exposed every state supreme court in the country as a gaggle of black-robed partisan clowns whose "opinions" aren't worth the used toilet paper they should be printed on.

I say "EVERY" state supreme court, because I haven't heard any judges from other state supreme courts weighing in to call out these Colorado supreme buffoons for the clowns that they are.

They have no awareness that their racist and political “laws” can be used against them. That’s why they are storming the border and stuffing ballots for a complete takeover.

The Left keeps poking the bear. What is their end game? I have a feeling they aren’t going to like what’s coming. (But then again the destruction they’re causing is their end goal)

When was Trump convicted of insurrection?

When was Trump charged with insurrection?

"When was Trump convicted of insurrection?"

Just today by 4 judges in Colorado, without a trial. Well, "deemed" might be a more accurate term.

Exactly. Trump did not commit insurrection, Trump was not charged with insurrection, and Trump was not convicted of insurrection. As I wrote in another thread, Democrats will rue the day the pushed for, got this, and cheered it.
