Two More Ships Struck By Houthi Missiles As Maersk Diverts All Tankers From Red Sea https://t.co/NCENcSRboW
This couldn’t come at a worse time.
Attacks from Houthi-controlled Yemen struck two Liberian-flagged ships in the Bab al-Mandab Strait on Friday, a U.S. defence official said, underlining the threat to vessels in shipping lanes being targeted by the Iran-aligned group.
Danish shipping company A.P. Moller-Maersk (MAERSKb.CO) said it would pause all container shipments through the Red Sea until further notice. German container line Hapag Lloyd said it was considering a similar move.
A projectile, believed to be a drone, struck one of the Liberian-flagged vessels, the German-owned Al Jasrah, causing a fire but no injuries, the U.S. official said.

This problem is easy to fix. We just lack the political will to do so.
Yes, we have allowed Iran to be insulated from their proxy wars long enough.
I thought Maersk was mainly a container line, but I could be wrong.
Not that it matters much, until the Houthies get eradicated, that’s going to choke out a lot of the world’s oil supply.
Time to destroy the Houthi dictatorship in Sana and their support facilities,, and if necessary, some of their home villages/cities. They are Iranian armed, trained and support terrorist forces. Show them no mercy.
Nothing that a precisely placed nuke couldn’t take care of. MAKEAWRECKAMECCA!
MAERSK has a finger in every maritime pie. Box ships, tankers, drilling rigs and drillships, supply boats, and anchor handlers. It is a remarkably well run company.

The U.S. Navy is obviously not being commanded by serious people. Our aircraft carriers should launch swarms of fighters to destroy the sources of these attacks.
Sailing American aircraft carriers into the region is nothing but a farce.
Houthi needs killing, too.
If America had a President instead of Xi’s puppet this would have been dealt with already.
Xi should be one of the 1st players to step up and deal with the Houthis: MANY “boatloads” of Chinese commerce pass through that area, and China has a large Navy including a base nearby. It’s time for them to do something useful, instead of roughing up Filipinos...
Just look at the WORLDWIDE mess Trump left for Bidementia !

They need orders from the Pentagon which needs orders from Biden. Biden loves Iran. So no orders, no attacks.
Consider the Suez Canal routes closed. Learn to love supply shortages again. Thank Biden.
Shippers ship. In the Red Sea, the wealthy oil producers should foot their own bill for shipping their "trade goods" -- usually petroleum products. But no, they expect the NATO consortium to provide the cops for the neighborhood.
The Red Sea producers could mount their own protection, one might wager. But as long as Uncle Sucker and his friends will do it for them....
