Cats have always been known for their mysterious and independent nature. They can be a source of unconditional love and comfort for their humans, but they also possess a streak of cunning and aloofness. In a recent incident, a homeowner found himself locked out of his house, with the keys safely inside. Little did he know, his feline companions held the power to either let him in or leave him stranded outside.

He wasn’t “old” when he took the job 11 years ago, but time does that to all of us. The fact that he has told her about me tells me a lot. I don’t know what it says, but it tells me a lot! LOL!
Good morning. Happy Twosday!
The Princess has decided that she doesn’t need to relieve herself both at 2am and at 6am. So I have to put her out one more time around 7. It’s time to figure out something new.
It was 61 fs when we walked this morning. The high is supposed to be in the 80s.
Yesterday, the in-laws’ thermostat was set for a high of 69 and a low of 55. I guess he doesn’t remember that if the house hasn’t cooled to the previous setting yet, setting it lower doesn’t do any good. And in “auto” heat/cool mode the thing is trying to figure out what he wants. At least I have remote visibility and control.
Not a bad Wordle today. I really thought I had it on that 3rd guess as the letters were going green.

Good morning. Happy Tiw’s Day. Jake (inside) had a screaming match with a cat outside last night. I heard it and came down to see if someone had let Jake out after I went to bed, but there was Jake in the window carrying on and Vlad in the kitchen messing around with his teeth.
Vlad in the kitchen messing around with his teeth.
What is the correct antecedent for his in the above?
I am really bad at these. I keep over-thinking. I feel like that graphical chess program that tries to show you each move it is contemplating before deciding... minus that part where I guess correctly...
Vlad’s teeth, which is shorthand for his Invisalign aligners and their affiliated rubber bands.
I’m up for another round of Wordle Golf, but — if we could — let’s take weekends off; I’m online all week, but my schedule on weekends leaves me less readily able to jump in and play.

Good morning. Happy Humph Day!
It’s in the mid 60s now heading for a high of 90, if the foreguess is to be believed.
The Princess got a good report on her liver, although the doctor didn’t send the actual lab results. Mrs. ArGee has requested them. In any case, the doctor was happy that the indicators of liver function had improved significantly. So we’re able to reduce the steroid by half. We’re going to try the main chelating pill for another month (it’s EXPENSIVE) and if things still look good we’ll try taking her off of it all.
I’m sorry to be shoving pills down her throat for another month, but I’m glad it appears to have been working.
I blew the 3rd guess, but this wasn’t too bad.

OK, if one of you guys wants to pick a course, let me know what it is, and I will work on a scorecard that only uses M-F Wordle games...
I got a very lucky second row guess today...

Good news on Princess, poor dog has been through a lot... hopefully it keeps getting better for her!
Wow... I got today’s in 3 and thought that was pretty good...
Kudos.
Thanks, very lucky guess there... you are welcome to join the Wordle golf round that will be starting soon, if you are interested in that sort of thing...
Such a sweet little kitty!
I’ve had a shower and now I’m sitting in the breeze from having the back door open. It’s 56° out there, and 70 Fs in here. The high Out There will be 85° and about 15-20 degrees cooler in here. ;o]
I went to talk to Chuck yesterday, but only Beth was there and just when we got down to talking about the things that matter, Corey the smoker came in and suddenly monopolized the conversation. Rita, the Quebecoise, showed up next and finally chuck got there. I gave up.
I’ll try today to find out about the things that need to be done, including my screaming shower head. I really want this stuff done before Chuck leaves, because otherwise, I’ll have to pay someone to do it and I’d rather not.
Anyway, the gals are all moaning and groaning about how much they will miss him and how much they “love him,” and all I could think of was “A short lesson in how to make the newcomer feel unwanted.” She’s not even sure she’s going to take the job, and Chuck still isn’t sure she’s suitable for it. It was better when no one knew about his retirement but Jim and I.
Good news for the Princess Dog. All she knows is that she doesn’t like being sick.
Chip is off his feed again, so I don’t know if he feels nauseous or not. I just know it breaks my heart that I can’t take him to the vet. (I have to catch him, first!)
Both 2 and 3 are very good.
I am consistently inconsistent these days, but I appreciate the invite.
My driver’s license is coming today! YAY!!
Next time, I’ll have to have an eye test (again) and a new photo, so I’ll have to actually go to DMV.
But that’s still another four years down the road, so I’m good. ;o]
Congrats!
I kept my last several DL’s just to help track the progression of the color of my hair from brown to grey...
Thanks!
I probably have at least two and maybe three, including the one from Texas.
And at least one from Nevada, but I didn’t even bother with getting one in Arkansas and I’m glad I didn’t. I didn’t drive at all while I was there, so I could see no sense in changing my DL. It was bad enough changing my phone number! GAH!
