I’m going to visit those dog hater websites mentioned there and troll em.
How about I got bit by an unsecured dog in my neighborhood over two months ago. There is still a large bruise on my leg and a puncture wound that just doesn’t want to heal. There was a $350 urgent care trip initially, because the bleeding would not stop.
That a good enough reason to dislike dogs and to have a healthy disdain for their owners?
TMOFPOAT PBUH /sarc hated dogs.
Their to stupid to own and train them properly. That was assuredly left off the list.
First FAQ: (Summarized)
Q: Are these reasons valid?
A: No.
Biden has one and he has bit everyone except the ass who owns him.
It's like having faucets everywhere throughout the house that leak stinky fluid on anything and everything but there's no plumber you can call to fix it.
Whoa - this is a hornet’s nest lol.
I like dogs. But I don’t go nuts over them like most. Because I only “like” them, I would never own one. I find them more of a pain in the neck than they’re worth. Hair everywhere, slobbering, picking up after them, they ruin things at times.....I just never saw the up side FOR ME.
Having said that, my son-in-law has two dogs (I live on the property) and my son has three....all of them large dogs. I see how much they love their dogs, and I get it. My daughter-in-law loves them, but not my daughter. She finds them to be more trouble than they’re worth, but she no doubt got that from me.
If you love them, however, that’s great! Dogs are great companions and more loyal and loving than many humans, but that’s another subject lol.
I like nice dogs and funny dogs. I hate mean ones with bad breath.
The emotions of this subject run too wild. It is a dog vs cat person driven thing.
There was a great scene from the movie “Whitefang” where the Ethan Hawke character tries to pet a sled dog in the Alaska camp of the native tribe that had befriended his traveling companion. The tribal leader scolds him, and says “Dogs aren’t for petting. Dogs are for work!” Makes sense to me.
Anybody that doesn't like dogs doesn't need to live with us sane people.
I’m not a dog hater. However as I’ve aged I’m more neutral about them. The constant pooping, needing food and water, often barking get very taxing. After saying that I would like to get one more pup before I get too aged.
Also call me silly but I swear dogs are less worthy today. I remember growing up in the 60s-70s and farm dogs especially were more loyal, brave and valuable. I’ve read some others say it’s the fault of puppy mills that just crank out pups in a numbers game to earn more money. Unlike in the old days breeders would keep the best for certain traits and off the rest! (no that exactly is what my old neighbor a life long farmer used to do, a very good and deeply religious man. He would get his new litter , wait until they were old enough to see which ones he wanted to keep or sale then trot to the creek with the others in a great big burlap bag—true story).
I’ll have a dog one day. After one day I will give it back to the owner.
My husband & I have 2 cats & a dog. All foundlings/rescues. I truly would not think much of a man who didn’t love dogs. Animals being joy & life.
When I was 10 I leaned down to kiss the neighbors doxxen. He tore my left cheek wide open. Rushed to the hospital & received over 40 stitches. Life happens. I have no fear of dogs.
No objection to dogs, but do object to those a—holes that don’t clean up after their dogs.
Dog ownership is an extension of Man’s desire to control other living things. It is why slavery exists. Owning a dog satisfies this desire, it’s almost euphoric for the slave master to have a living being completely subservient to him, and follow his every command. Even the slave here will protect the master with violence.
The slave Master will also chase down any ‘runaway’ dog, just as they would their human slaves, if it were 1850. Just as with human slaves, the dog ‘Master’ has various keeps for his slave, where it can be a muddy pit in the fenced in back yard, or the typical ‘House Dog (slave)’ living indoors similar to a servant.
