Maybe, but not necessarily. He may recognize that homosexuality can have different origins, and may have learned from feedback that "gay from birth," doesn't have to mean that there is a gay gene. Also, he said he's "sympathetic" to the idea that people can be gay from birth, not that he thinks it's literally true in all cases.

The trouble with his argument is, there are FORMER homosexuals.
