About the AR-15…

A look at some core facts and truth regarding the nation’s most popular rifle.

The AR-15 is the most popular rifle in America today. Estimates put the total of privately owned modern sporting rifles upwards of 20 million, which would clearly meet the “common use” standard the Supreme Court says qualifies weapons for protection under the Second Amendment. Yet because mass murderers like the “transgender” biological woman in Nashville sometimes choose this weapon for the commission of heinous evil, leftists relish in attributing that evil to the tool rather than the perpetrator.

So let’s focus for just a moment on the facts and the truth about the AR-15.

It is a relatively small-caliber but high-velocity semiautomatic rifle, which means it fires only one round for every trigger pull. It was developed in the late 1950s by Armalite, hence the AR designation, which does not stand for “assault rifle.”

A true assault rifle is something like the M4A1 carbine, which is a military service rifle with select-fire — i.e., fully automatic — capability. While the AR-15 and the M4 look similar, the function is different.

Fully automatic machine guns have been effectively banned since 1986, so, despite their prevalence in Hollywood’s violence-glorifying entertainment, few are actually “on the streets,” and virtually none are used in the commission of crimes.

I know most all here are owners/familiar with the AR platform, good background/history info though on the Armalite rifle, and great pictorial at the Truth about the AR-15 link above.

AR-15 with 30 round standard magazines ENDED the church massacre in Nashville, TN. Thank GOD for AR 15s and too bad staff/teachers didn’t have one to repel the crazy tranny.

America’s Rifle. I will not let a man who gave $85 billion in weapons and billions more in cash to the Taliban tell me I cannot have an AR-15.

It may be true that the Nashville shooter carried an AR platform (with a super-scary Arm Brace attached,) S/He/It used a Kel-Tec SUB2000 pistol-caliber carbine chambered in 9x19mm for the actual shooting.

So the presence of an AR is not germane to the discussion.

AR-15s are too scary for me. So I settled for the gentler AR10.

...upwards of 20 million..

I'd say more like 30-40 million.

Figures. Blame the AR-15 when one wasn’t even used. But the Kel-Tec would also be listed as an “assault weapon”.

“semiautomatic rifle, which means it fires only one round for every trigger pull.”

What? Were all of those leftist “fire arms experts” lying? Perish the thought! What about fully semiautomatic?

Armalite designed this rifle 60 years ago. It is obsolete for some of the military. It is a great equalizer to stop armed invasion of this country.

Obama had the largest number of red flag incidents in history and now OBuyden wants to do it again. They are practitioners of propaganda, mind control and human trafficking.

During the Beslan school siege the first people on the scene were the parents armed with AK47s.

But the Kel-Tec would also be listed as an “assault weapon”.

Because a 9x19mm 115/124/147 grain projectile fired from a SUB2000 can rip a man in two?

I know they're on the Illinois list of banned 'assault weapons.'

...with a super-scary Arm Brace...

I think it was a stock. Barrel length would have made it legal, from the photos I’ve seen.

I'd really like to see someone present Biden or the biddies on The View with a handful of cartridges ranging from .22 to 50 cal. and let them pick out the ones that they think a typical AR-15 shoots.

Of course, they'd probably wet themselves at the sight of real ammunition.

The PCC owners should know that they’re being targeted. A very popular weapon type.

It was an arm brace, and it looks to me (without being able to measure) like a 14" bbl.
