I was going to post this under Catholic Caucus but I decided instead to open it up.
To summarize:
Pope Francis, aka Papa Pacha, gave an interview with AP on Tuesday, he said that certain bishops need to go through a process of conversion (whatever that means), that laws criminalizing homosexuality are "unjust", that it's all part of the "human condition", but nonetheless still a sin.
Francis could have said all of the above about suicide, but didn't, as these traditional bishops he went after are against it as well, it is a crime to commit suicide, a sin people have also committed as well (it is also part of the "human confition" that occurs and has also occured after the fall of man), and a mortal sin like homosexuality.
Why then didn't he call laws criminalizing suicide and/or assisted suicide, "unjust"?
Why?
Because of his agenda to try and slow-walk the church to the left and him going after other laws criminalizing other things likd this is too much of a leap for him and his allies right now.
Notice also how there's been hardly a peep from Francis against Fr James Martin's pro-LGBT agitating, or against certain German "Catholic" bishops who promote pretty much do whatever you want, women priests, etc? When does he tell them to go through a process of "conversion" Never.
Francis has positioned himself as the middle-of-the-road pope who is fighting against liberals on the left and traditionalists on the right, but he's as phony as "Middle class Joe [Biden]".
And not a peep either against Nancy Pelosi defying her bishop and going over to Rome to celebrate the Eucharist with Francis present and doing nothing to stop it. Plus he tells Trads to stop being "ideological" while he smiles as he receives ideological pro-abort politicians from Italy, Ireland, and the U.K., and participated in an ecumenical service with heretical pro-abort, pro-one sex marriage Lutherans in Sweden.
I dont think many Catholics consider him a leader. Most I know, myself included, are focusing on their parishes and dioceses and praying for Francis to step down. I can’t say what I think of Francis or I would get kicked off FR.
The Catholic and Anglican churches are so desperate to fill their pews, they’ll resort to anything, including apostasy.
Francis, aka Papa Pacha, is not the pope. The 2013 conclave had more than one error cancelling the election. Similarly, the 2020 election had more than one error cancelling the presidential election. Guess who is in charge? Yup, the Lord.
Ask Him how to fix the problems in Rome and DC which He can easily accomplish. Thankfully, there is a jail in Guantanamo for criminals in DC and a jail in the next life for criminals in Rome.
“believes he is equal to GOD”
When rome made their tradition equal with Holy Scriptures they actually made them higher since they are in opposition to Holy Scripture therefore they have to be higher to overrule. Only a higher authority can overrule the lower or at least in their devilish minds that is the case, we know better.
Genesis 3:5
‘I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.’
Satan has been trying to overrule GOD since the very beginning and he is still trying through the roman cult.
“Has anybody tallied the number of homosexual pedophiles in Francis’ crime syndicate?”
Not yet, they are still paying hundreds of millions of dollars and settling cases, the true amount will never be known. Satan’s is a liar, and his roman cult, antichrist, and false prophet are his best works since Adam.
My sister, who lives in highly Catholic Western NY, (where I was raised and know that it is) said that most Catholics she knows love Francis.
Which is no surprise, considering how most Catholics in WNY vote. Buffalo politics has been democrat and liberal, and corrupt beyond measure for DECADES.
I even asked some who were what would be considered *good* Catholics, weekly church attending, very active in their parishes, committed Catholics, why in light of their church’s stand on abortion, they voted democrat. Their answer?
“Because democrats are ‘for the poor.’”
And that is a quote.
Every single one of the impulses Hitler acted upon was part of the human condition. What’s the point here?
laws criminalizing theft are "unjust", that it's all part of the "human condition", but nonetheless still a sin.
laws criminalizing murder are "unjust", that it's all part of the "human condition", but nonetheless still a sin.
laws criminalizing lying are "unjust", that it's all part of the "human condition", but nonetheless still a sin.
(Shall I go on?)
Well; it looks as though being the pope is NOT in MY future!

Genesis 18:20-21
20. Then the LORD said, "The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous
21. that I will go down and see if what they have done is as bad as the outcry that has reached me. If not, I will know."
Genesis 19:4-7
4. Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom--both young and old--surrounded the house.
5. They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them."
6. Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him
7. and said, "No, my friends. Don't do this wicked thing.
Leviticus niv
18:22 Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.
20:13 If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable.
They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.
Isaiah 3:9 The look on their faces testifies against them;
they parade their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it.
Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves.
================================================
2 Peter 2:13b Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight.
They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you.
================================================
Ezekiel 16:49-50 "`Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom:
She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy.
They were haughty and did detestable things before me.
Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.
1. But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves.
2. Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute.
3. In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.
4. For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment;
5. if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others;
6. if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;
7. and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the filthy lives of lawless men
8. (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)--
9. if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials and to hold the unrighteous for the day of judgment, while continuing their punishment.
10. This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the sinful nature and despise authority. Bold and arrogant, these men are not afraid to slander celestial beings;
11. yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not bring slanderous accusations against such beings in the presence of the Lord.
12. But these men blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like brute beasts, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like beasts they too will perish.
13. They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done. Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you.
But there IS hope!!!
1 Corinthians 6:9-11
9. Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived:
Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders
10. nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
11. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
Why do you hate Mary?

Right there is our Human Condition!
Since when have Catholics had the authority to do such a - a - a PROTESTANT thing?
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
Well, except for THESE...
“God loves us as we are”
That is about as superficial as it gets. If that is the end of the story, then Christ was unnecessary, along with most everything else.
Sin is part of the human condition, although that is not what God ever intended for it to be.
But He provided a solution for it so that nobody needs to stay there. Sin should never be coddled, glossed over, or approved of.
I feel for those who struggle with homosexual temptation, It is not something I would want to deal with. But Christians need to offer hope to those in that situation, not enabling them in their sin.
A relative has some gay friends, one of whom was in the same situation at a Catholic seminary.
He was gay himself, but even he said that was so bad in seminary that he quit.
Oh He will intervene all right; that is what Revelation is all about.
Not fun and definitely destructive — for the wicked.
Why do you gaslight people?
I try to fool them into thinking they are crazy??

Isaiah 53
Who has believed our message
and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
2 He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
3 He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.
Surely he took up our pain 7 He was oppressed and afflicted, Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer,
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to our own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.
yet he did not open his mouth;
he was led like a lamb to the slaughter,
and as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.
8 By oppression[a] and judgment he was taken away.
Yet who of his generation protested?
For he was cut off from the land of the living;
for the transgression of my people he was punished.[b]
9 He was assigned a grave with the wicked,
and with the rich in his death,
though he had done no violence,
nor was any deceit in his mouth.
and though the Lord makes[c] his life an offering for sin,
he will see his offspring and prolong his days,
and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.
11 After he has suffered,
he will see the light of life[d] and be satisfied[e];
by his knowledge[f] my righteous servant will justify many,
and he will bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will give him a portion among the great,[g]
and he will divide the spoils with the strong,[h]
because he poured out his life unto death,
and was numbered with the transgressors.
For he bore the sin of many,
and made intercession for the transgressors.
