Hanson is one of the “intellectuals” who has taken waaay too long to figure out what time it is. Did someone seize control of something???. How about the media, entertainment, education from K to postgraduate, the military, the Justice dept, the legal system, our elections, big tech, etc etc. The Left owns every means of influence over our culture. We the people no longer have ANY means of punishing them when they act against our wishes. You cant vote them out and you can’t put them in jail for corruption. We live in a uniparty country with our only defense being the feckless and cowardly Republicans who hate their constituents more than they hate the RAT party.

Nixon took us off the gold standard and invited China to manufacture for the world. Part of the result of that was men could no longer support their families and both parents had to work. The family started to fall apart and then the job started going out of the country for the cheap labor.
