Controversial and provocative influencer Andrew Tate and his brother have been arrested in Romania on human sex-trafficking allegations ... according to a report.
The publication Libertatea reports the two have been brought in on kidnapping and rape charges -- though the specifics of the allegations are not yet known. A video circulating on social media from a Romanian news outlet shows both Tate and his brother being led out of a building in handcuffs by police and into a waiting vehicle. Tate became the a huge focus on Twitter earlier this week after he tweeted at environmental activist Greta Thunberg, mocking her efforts by listing off his collection of cars.

When I was a kid there was this pastor called Richard Wurmbrand who wrote a book ‘Tortured for Christ.’ Really bleak description of Romanian prisons under Ceaușescu... He ran one of the leading anti-communist Christian orgs during the 70s. I wonder how much things have improved since?
Well on this site, he was guilty before ever being charged. LOL I have no love for the guy...but...maybe he isn’t guilty of anything.
He’s a social media personality... Tucker had him on his show a few weeks back, pretty much saying that the reason he was so controversial was because he had a lot of testosterone... It didn’t get better from there...
What’s sad is how Western governments, including the US under Nixon, kissed Ceausescu’s ass because they perceived he was “independent from Moscow”.

Yes... he joined Tito and the Albanians in the ‘non aligned’ block... so got his ass kissed by American policy makers.. also academia...

I spent a few months there in 2002. Enough time for me to actually have decent conversations with Romanians in their native tongue as it’s very close to Italian and Spanish.
I doubt much has changed in the prison system since Ceaușescu.
I’ve read Wurmbrand’s history. That man is a warrior for Christ. The Romanian people need a few hard pushes to make them want Church and Jesus. I pray for their nation and people a lot. It’s a wonderful country.

They even used Nadia Comeneci to try to curry favor with the regime, before she managed to escape.
I saw Wurmbrand at a local church, speaking about his experiences.. he was a spellbinding speaker... that was ‘74.
