The case involves a web designer who made it clear she will not cater to same sex couples on deeply held religious objections. Behar cited the SPLC, that right there destroys any shred of her credibility. What if it ever comes out the Sotomayor,the wise Latino (what,she doesn't call herself LATINX yet? She needs to get with the program) was in any way associated with laRaza or the FALN? Or if Kentaji Brown were associated with the Nation of Islam? Would their impartiality be questioned, I ask so cynically?

The "apology" came because she had committed slander against People of Praise by falsely claiming they had been labeled a hate group. She apparently was notified by lawyers either for her network or for People of Praise if her legal period, and so apologized the very next day right at the beginning of the show, saying she had confused the name with that of some other group. The others chimed in as to how it was an honest mistake and they're glad it was fixed.

It wasn't a personal apology directed at ACB. It was CYA to avoid an imminent lawsuit.

You make a mistake thinking that there are rules of fair play, or that, if there were, the Democrats would abide by them. There is no level playing field.

I don’t buy the “Republicans-good, Democrats-bad” outlook. Mitch’s Senate Republicans hate you and me probably a lot more than Bernie Sanders does. They are certainly no friends of Christianity, as they showed by refusing to block the anti-Christian “marriage” bill that passed the Senate today.
