Most people don’t realize the historical connection between the Vikings and Kiev.

Archeologist Timur Bobrovsky who excavated the caves told Life Pravda that the complex may have been used as a shelter during military turmoil and a dungeon.
My first thought was why this article in American Military News?
this the only connection?

I suppose that war has caused the property to be abandoned, so that the “conservationist” could trespass…
An odd effect of military action, at least.

There is a canyon within the confines of China Lake’s Naval Air Weapons Station - Weapons Division that has dozens and dozens of centuries-old Native ‘tagging’ (what I call it). Many are in some pretty inaccessible places but yet they are there. They go on for several hundred yards. They really are something to see. Not many people do because the canyon is on military property and someone from China Lake has to take you out there to show it.

I’ve never heard of that place and I just looked it up.
It sort of reminds me of the petroglyphs at Ice Box Canyon outside of Las Vegas.
Interesting!

Let’s fake a story about ancient history?
Maybe that’s your take?

Back when I went there with a Navy contract sponsor I had who worked there, they didn’t have any organized tours and such. We pretty much went through it and had the run of the place. To me it’s just one of those visual memories I have where I didn’t have a camera and stuff.....

It used to be common knowledge that Kiev started out as a Viking trading post ruled by ... you guessed it, Vikings. Then along came revisionist history, and ...

That’s pretty amazing. I’d love to be able to scour that site.
I would imagine that you are privy to some things that only a handful of people have ever seen, that’s fascinating.
A shame you didn’t get pictures.

I cannot disagree with you on that.
And it looks like we’re repeating the vicious cycle of lies currently with “wokism”.
