Max Blumenthal implies that the affluence of American Jews undermines the justification for the existence of the State of Israel... Candace jumps right in and appears to endorse this opinion. Is she going full anti-Semitic justifying her propping up of a rapper she has befriended? Is supporting Israel really just another form of 'political correctness' or grievance mongering? Interested in your opinions.

Blumenthal, from my perspective looking at the tweet, considers the ADL to be Zionist and thus he ripping them would be anti-Zionist from some perspectives.
Now I’ve clarified myself.
But Candace Owens may not consider looking at the ADL in a negative light to be anti-Zionist.
And now I’ve said enough.
Have a good day and be well!
Good point... but is the State of Israel really just another level of ‘Jewish org’ looking to capitalize on grievance? I can see where some folks would say ‘ye’...
Thanks ... have a great weekend...
some complains about what someone says and want to shut them up... I side immediately with the one who spoke. end of story.
No such thing as a free lunch.

No one is being ‘shut up.’ This is the new and improved Twitter... I suspect conversations will be getting more heated over there.. and more interesting... that’s what freedom of speech is all about....
I don’t see a problem with what she said.
Jews make up 11% of the Supreme Court, for instance.

I'm not against Jews being in such position, but, really, they are an incredibly outsized, tiny minority of the US, and the world.
God’s People are those who follow Him.
Do Christians follow God, or not?
Jews say they don’t. Do you?
You could be right. One way of looking at it is she was simply sympathizing with the fact that Blumenthal was about to get skewered for expressing an opinion as she so often is for expressing hers. You do sort of have to ‘read in’ agreement with the opinion expressed.

We have to fix fractured relations between Jewish and black Americans. We definitely can’t do that by shutting up.
Cancel culture breeds conspiracy. I agree with Joe Rogan that we have to have the courage to have tough conversations.
I have love for everybody.

I think the ADL is like BLM and the NAACP.
They create more antisemitism just like BLM created more racism.
What I “liked” is his take on the ADL.
They work only to further divide groups—in this circumstance, black & Jewish people.
Hope that clarifies my perspective.
Thanks.... I like that she clarifies that her agreement was with the take on the ADL.
with all the money that flows from the zynagogues that accept the present day Israel, and how that nation has flourished on its own, i see no need to further fund it.
i do not agree with those that take a non-synagogic religious stand, demanding that we ‘must’ fund Israel, with federal funding. should those be so led, let them put their money in a convertible means and send it/ wire it electronically, what have you.
Ye says he is a god. I suspect he took the name Ye from the book of Genius, where the serpent tempts Eve and says, “Ye shall be as gods”
Conservatism decries showing special sensitivity to any group. Truth is truth. If statistic show blacks disproportionately commit more violent crime, or that Muslims disproportionately commit more terrorism, one shouldn't be afraid to say so.
But many conservatives have long practiced a "Jewish exception," showing greater sensitivity to issues pertaining to Jews.
This actually received official endorsement some 30 years ago when Buckley published his famous article (latter expanded into a book), "In Search of Antisemitism."
I never read the book, but I read the article. I recall one line vividly, "The Jews are sui generis."
By this Buckley meant that the traditional conservative disregard for political correctness should not apply to Jews, due to their "unique" history of persecution, which entitled Jews to greater sensitivity.
Buckley coined the term "contextual antisemitism." By this he meant a statement that wasn't hateful in itself, and would be perfectly fine if said of other groups, but would be hateful if said of Jews.
For instance (my examples; I forget Buckley's), "Blacks commit disproportionately more violent crime" is not hate, because it's true. But to say, "Jews commit disproportionately more financial crime" could be problematic even if true, because of the context of Jews unique history of persecution.
What of blacks' history of slavery, or other groups who've suffered persecution? Buckley doesn't grant exceptions to other groups. He explains why the Jews are sui generis in a long and tortuous exercise in hand-wringing that I found ultimately unconvincing.
I wonder how many young conservatives are aware of the intellectual history of this movement?
Good post. I suspect Buckley’s extra sensitivity regarding Jews is very much a product of the post war environment (and still is). I’d guess a black man might question whether the backdrop of the civil rights movement shouldn’t heighten sensitivity in their regard... I’d argue it does... obviously a huge difference in degree of oppression however.
Absolutly.
“Is she going full anti-Semitic?” Easy answer. Every person is anti-Semitic unless Blumenthal says otherwise. In other news, Candace is doing her best to make money.
It is what Kanye said, going after Jews as a whole.
