Twenty-four years ago today, I “officially” became a FReeper. I had attended the March for Justice on October 31, 1998, and that event convinced me the FRee Republic was the “right” place to “hang out.”
Having “lurked” for a few months prior to the March for Justice, I was delighted to meet so many like-minded people, all of whom came to WDC on their own nickel, to exercise their First Amendment Rights and protest the Clinton administration. March for Justice video
It was the first of many “FReeps” I attended in the WDC area (and elsewhere over the years) before I had to move to Florida in 2004 to attend to my late mother.
In the period of time I was in WDC, the WDC FRee Republic Chapter was VERY actively protesting against Bill Clinton and the LIEberal scumbags who were (and still are!) intent on overthrowing our Constitutional Republic. I am posting this "vanity" to thank all of you with whom I have interacted with over these past 24 years who have had a positive influence on my life via FRee Republic. Since I would invariably leave out someone (there are WAAAAY too many to name), I'll just say "Thank you FReepers!"
