The Chinese restricted Phosphate fertilizer exports and that means global crop yields are going to drop.
It ain’t rocket surgery.

We gave up eating rice several years ago. We don’t eat much grain any more. Cereal has been off by grocery list for many years.

I live in a state where rice is very popular(Hawaii) we buy it by the #50 bag. MacDonald’s offers rice and Spam with the McBreakfast meal. IIRC rice, beans and franks were the New Orleans Parish Prison standard menu items.( I was aquitted).
Alabama is the #1 rice producer in the US so we’ll still have plenty, even though California is killing their rice farms in favor of an invasive species of fish.
The dream of liberal elites is coming true. Dead stupid people. It saves their Gaia.

I live in Arkansas and our state produces half of the US rice production. My guess is our production will be much lower this year because of months of drought.
