Well California is a huge exporter of rice, and the invites in the government are shutting down farms that use too much water. Nothing uses more water for the growth of their product than rice.
Again, those who claim they love the poor, will destroy their ability to eat.
No more rice, and the farmers make more money to sell their corn for ethanol that they do for food.
