DOJ source calls raid a 'spectacular backfire,' claims AG Garland didn't approve it

It seems the DOJ has decided to leak an explanation of their decision to use a search warrant in this case. Newsweek just published an exclusive report based on anonymous DOJ sources which claims the FBI had a confidential source at Mar-a-Lago, one who informed them that Trump was hiding documents and even specified where they could be found.

The raid on Mar-a-Lago was based largely on information from an FBI confidential human source, one who was able to identify what classified documents former President Trump was still hiding and even the location of those documents, two senior government officials told Newsweek.

Before we go any further, remember that the FBI apparently brought along a safe-cracker who opened Trump’s safe. Presumably that suggests they were told by their confidential source that there were documents hidden in the safe. But by all accounts there was nothing in the safe and the FBI didn’t take anything from it. Does that mean the confidential source got it wrong?

Its all tied to the RICO case Trump filed against Hillary, DNC and the entire RussiaGate goon squad. They are terrified of something they believe Trump has on them thats going to come out in the trial. Reinhardt signed the warrant for the FBI raid the day after Trumps attorneys made motion to deny dismissal of the case .

Don Jr said the surveillance cameras were on, and they saw the FIB going into rooms they were not supposed to be in.

“if Garland didn’t approve it, who did?!”

Garland approved it. This leak is just lies intended to mitigate the fallout and make senior admin officials look innocent.

So PDJT should just remove that worry from their little heads, i.e., that bad stuff might come out in a trial. By the end of this week, he should release everything. Publish every doc on Truth Social. See ... problem gone. Nothing left to be exposed in a trial.

And Obama used the old Nixon dodge: “I learned about it from the newspapers, just like you guys did.”

Who approved the FBI raids on Flynn and Stone? The same individuals who were running the IC in the Trump Administration are still there. The Deep State has its security.

The could plant things, but if the crime he is accused of is hiding or destroying records, they also can lose or destroy records , then claim they never were there. If they are looking for communications from Jan 6 or after then was Trump president, then—and does the law apply to him about preserving records from after he was no longer president? Democrats & the press seem to want it both ways: they say Trump no longer was president once states certified their votes——and that was well before Jan 6th…..so what is the date when Trump no longer has to preserve records? I think there is proof that Biden ordered James Comey to get Michael Flynn in 2016 or 2017 , after a date when press & Democrats claim Biden no longer was vice president, I believe. Why was Comey taking orders from Biden, anyway?

As Dan Bongino said, this is not evidence of a crime looking for the person, this is looking at the person and trying to find a crime. (Exactly the same as J6 committee).

Learned from the expert, Stalin's head of secret police, Lavrenti Beria:
“Show me the man and I’ll find you the crime.”

Funny how the FBI has all these SWAT teams & firepower but were nowhere in sight on Jan 6th to protect the Capitol Building & forewarn protestors as a deterrent

My dumb a$$ brother in law thinks it’s all the gospel.

Says he wants Trump and every person associated with him thrown in jail. He doesn’t appear to believe the Constitution or the law should stand in the way of that.

I have a cousin like that, swallowed it all and happier than Ralphie on Christmas morning.

Dang, turns out it was just thirty rogue agents acting on their own authority. Poor Chris and Merrick. Their agents just don’t give them no respect.

You know, stuff happens in any large organization. Like the way another rogue agent falsified evidence against Trump. And another made sure he set up an “insurance” policy against Trump’s election. Just a rogue head of counter-intelligence. You have to understand that stuff happens in a big organization.

They were just trying to do a low key raid an a former president’s home, for God’s sake. We can be sure it never occurred to them that people might be upset they spend 10 hours searching a former president’s home. So what is all the fuss about?

“If Garland didn’t approve it, he needs to make a public statement explaining how this occurred without his explicit approval.”

So when low-level FBI agents decide to raid Obama’s, Clinton’s and Hunter Biden’s home, they’ll do that without checking with Merrick also.

Maybe Trump did set them up. Dummied up documents with secret-secret cameras filming the agents planting evidence… after “examining” Melanie’s underwear.

In which case neither Garland nor Wray informed him which is grounds for dismissing them

except he wanted it that way, which is grounds for keeping them
