A $10,000 gift card?
Eh... I doubt it.
Probably what they were offering was a voucher good toward a discount on a full priced fare bought within a certain time frame.

I've gotta make a connection at JFK next month for a 15 hour flight. I have a bad feeling that I'm gonna miss that connecting flight.

10k in vouchers to be redeemed at some company store rate? Or greenbacks?

Leave a day ahead.
Might cost you some extra, but it could be less than you’d
have to pay if things go south.

If things don’t change direction, we could be a major nation
without air travel.

10k in vouchers to be redeemed at some company store rate? Or greenbacks? Since this is a garbage conservative blog, as opposed to a real news site, we should not expect too many details like that.

Can you even get a $10,000 gift card?
I think there is a limit on how much you can put on them. $250 if I recall correctly.

In Vegas, do the airlines offer hookers to give up your seat? At least, you have someone to keep you warm at night waiting for tomorrow morning’s flight.

Cash or Delta dollars?
They did that to me once but it was basically, credit with the airline. Since I had missed three legs of an eight-leg flight, was a day late for my conference (Missed my presentation), and hadn’t slept in two days, I asked, “What makes you think I am EVER going to fly this airline again? If I have no other choice I will swim, row, walk, or ride a bicycle first.”

No. I just retired from an airline. It is a Visa gift card.
To: Harmless Teddy Bear
I think it’s higher than that. I once won a $500 gift card at work. Granted, that was years ago.

I would settle for some nominal amount - maybe $1,500 to $2,000 - to not even book a flight on their system.
