The Senate on Tuesday broke through nearly 30 years of stalemate on gun control legislation by voting 64 to 34 to advance an 80-page gun safety bill
The Senate voted to proceed to the bill just more than an hour after negotiators unveiled its text, giving lawmakers little time to digest its details.
The Daily Wire lists exactly what the bill would do, including provisions to grant the federal government the ability to deny you weapons based on “red flags” it defines. (Hint: Believing in the Constitution is a “red flag”)
Notably, the 80-page legislation includes language on highly controversial so-called red flag laws.

Immigration Amnesty...

If this passes, and thag starts to happen, then it needs to go to,the Supreme Court because we still have a right to criticise our govenrment without the fear of being penalized for it. We have a righT not to be politically harassed and punished for opinions.
Seems TX Senator John Cornyn was heard saying we got the Gun bill now on to immigration amnesty!

I didn't know that we had that many 'speed readers' in the Senate,
other than those who got duped into the "go along, to get along" political party
There needs to be some major structural changes in the way legislation is being processed and approved !

Exactly. People like Liz Cheney, Adam kinzinger, mitch mcconnel and ilk all know darn well they are the most reviled people in America, yet they continue right on betraying the country. Cornyn and Graham were both reelected in 2020, so they have a few years before they have to pretend to give a rat’s ass about the Constitution again.

Grahamnesty, Murkowsky, Hoeven, Rubio, Tillis, Burr, Lankford, Inhofe, Cornyn, Hyde-Smith, Collins, Sasse, Cassidy, Shelby, Ernst, Blunt, McConnell, Wicker, Portman, Toomey, Grassley, Rounds, Thune, Daines, Barasso, Scott, Scott, Capito, Cramer, Crapo, Fischer, Lee, Moran, Risch, Romney, Sullivan, Young and Boozman are all Bush League Republicans.
Plus the 145 in the House that voted in Feb 2021 for Liz Cheney.
Our constitutional rights are being taken away through a back door style approach.

They think they can do it now because Biden is so bad they'll all win elections by saying "we're better than them, you have no choice!" But they aren't better than them, when they think they can get away with it (like now) you see it on full display.
They don’t even need to pass amnesty. There are hundreds of thousands pouring across our borders unchecked right now and absolutely nothing will ever be done about it. If “amnesty” means giving them citizenship, well that’s another matter. But yeah, that will probably happen eventually.
I’m never sure what the word “amnesty” means in these discussions. The meaning seems to change with the prevailing political winds.
Hannity is the main water carrier for the Bush League Republicans.
He will NEVER ask them a hard question, much less drag them over the coals.
