Will add updates if I see any
They will also have to address issues of keeping civilians there and not letting them leave.
The [Origin, Rise and] Fall of the Azov by Jacob Dreizin
[By far the best explanation of the genesis, history and finally the end of the Azov Nazis in Ukraine.]

Maybe Russia will have their own war crimes trials
I am glad that these troops, even if they are Nazis, decided to disobey Zelenski’s “Stand-and-Fight-and-Die” order. Their needless deaths would have been more meaningless loss of life in a hopeless situation.
The rub is whether the UA or the Orc version of the surrender applies. UA made it conditional, Orcs made it unconditional.
Orcs intend to kill all Azov brigade troops and all those who fought with them.
Azovs that surrendered are being ‘interrogated’ by FSB/GRU.
Badly wounded were taken to some town, and presumably to a hospital. All other taken to prison south of Donetsk
This group will share the same fate.
Winning?

I don’t think many of these troops will ever be seen again.
In WWII 91,000 German troops (Sixth Army) surrendered at Stalingrad. After the war only 5,000 returned home.
They must have been trained by France.
An unconfirmed claim that 89 of the captured pows have been transferred to taganrog russia for detainment and possible criminal prosecution.

I wonder how many German returned from the Russina East after WWII? Probably not many.
Some might be held for concessions I suppose.
I read that they were evacuated. i just can’t understand how they were evacuated to Russian controlled territory. More like captured, right? LOL
Putin will achieve enough to be seen as a Russian victory. The attrition of Ukrainian soldiers is no longer one-to-one and rising much faster than Russian losses. Russia will end up cutting the Ukraine off from the sea and they will control the energy. Doesn’t matter if European nations don’t buy, because energy production is just a shell game with all of it being bought as nations exhange souces in the fall out.
Only 5-10% of those Germans who surrendered at Stalingrad made it back to Germany 10 years later.
Read some Telegram chatter that the Russians were considering flooding the bunkers beneath the factory. That might have been an inducement to surrender.
You’re right about oil but not for gas.
I don’t understand what options the Russians have for selling all the gas in the west that goes by pipeline to Europe. Not in the long term.
Maybe they can come up with some very energy consuming industry to use some of it.
They have rapidly expanding sales to China over the coming years but this was already expected and planned for long ago. It doesn’t do anything for the gas in the west.
Azov second-in-command “Kalina” left Azovstal & surrendered last night, says war reporter Dmitry Steshin.
Representatives of the Red Cross have visited the jail in Yelenovka (DPR) where Ukrainian POWs from Azovstal are being held.

I'm on a Desktop! I'm not going to use my cellphone to watch this. These people are idiots for designing thear platform this way.
The content is only a text message, it should appear.
I never provide phone number i’m not comfortable with it.
You can view short videos from PC without using telegram app.

you couldn’t be more wrong - Russia hasn’t made Ukraine landlocked
