Abigail Disney:

"Like all radical ideologues, the right wing has finally run amok and is coming to devour the hand that feeds it. Business. For my part I am delighted. It is the business world that has been, either by act or omission, feeding the opportunist right wing to distract"

Posibiec's response is awesome.

As a side note, a comment like that from a Disney scion begs the question: is grooming children an unofficially stated policy of the Disney corporation?

I hate to say this but I am wondering if this was a family tradition with the Disneys? Were they all closet child groomers all along?

Abigail Disney: “If you were to erase every reference to gayness and gay people from the planet, which is sort of what the ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill feels like, will children not become gay? Do they need to be recruited and groomed, or are people just gay?”

Yes, Abigail! They need to be recruited and groomed! People aren’t just gay. There is no gay gene. People aren’t born gay or in the wrong bodies. They are recruited and groomed to be gay or trans!

You know how when you say a word too many times Semantic satiation is a phenomenon whereby the uninterrupted repetition of a word eventually leads to a sense that the word has lost its meaning. This effect is also known as semantic saturation or verbal satiation. The concept of semantic satiation was described by E. Severance and M.F.Oct 14, 2018.

I feel like we’re at that point with “grooming”, not everyone wants to sexualize or have sex with children.

Pinocchio is actually a very dark story with all sorts of unsavory possible interpretations.

Openly call them out as groomers, and when they get upset, tell them they’re racists too.

This is all about her concerns that the Disney image and franchise are being hurt and her stock returns are shrinking.

No they aren’t all ‘recruited and groomed’.

Some of them go that way for reasons other than childhood sexual abuse. Really bad parenting is also a reason - especially cruel or distant fathers.

Most Disney stories come from really awful fairy tales and the ones that didn’t were usually awful tragedies like “Old Yeller”. I previewed that and decided not to show it to my kids because it was so tragic! I’m 31 and it made me cry!

Many of the famous fairy tales were originally very ‘dark’. People didn’t shield kids from things in very old days.

Real life is all about hardships. Character is how we deal with hardships. The early Disney was showed how America was founded and how it expanded. There was a lot of hardship in all of that. The early Disney taught us to be proud of our Founders and the little people they led. That translated into being proud of who we are and how we came to be.

All of that died with Walt.
