‘I was just wherever I could adding queerness’: Christopher Rufo has video from Disney’s all-hands meeting

As Twitchy reported, Disney CEO Bob Chapek got himself into really hot water with Disney employees by not vocally opposing Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill. He did eventually call Gov. Ron DeSantis to express his “disappointment” and “concern” and sent an apology email to staff for not speaking up sooner, but that didn’t stop employees from staging a walkout. Now the bill is law and Disney says it “remains committed” to seeing the law repealed.

To soothe the hysterical employees, Disney held an all-hands video conference, and Christopher Rufo has obtained footage. Disney really is dedicated to promoting queerness — no wonder they want kindergarteners taught about gender identity.

Disney corporate president Karey Burke says, "as the mother [of] one transgender child and one pansexual child," she supports having "many, many, many LGBTQIA characters in our stories" and wants a minimum of 50 percent of characters to be LGBTQIA and racial minorities.

My local news here in Florida sent a reporter to the protest location on the day of the walkout. Early reporting (it was still dark outside) showed the intersection where the employees would be standing with their protest signs. An hour later it was light out and the intersection was quite busy with cars and a whole two protestors. The evening news showed California protests and there were more participants but still not a lot.

When I was a teenager, to get a job at Disney you couldn't dye your hair, wear earrings, nail polish or make up (unless you were in character). My how the company has fallen.
