Actor Will Smith was filmed partying on Monday morning at the Vanity Fair Oscars event in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, CA after he slapped stand-up comedian Chris Rock during the live award show.
In the video shared by Variety editors Marc Malkin and Ramin Setoodeh on Twitter, Smith, 53, with wife J ada Pinkett, 50, nearby, joyfully sang along as the DJ played his songs “Gettin Jiggy With It” and”Miami.”
Did you see the slow-mo replay of that? That was no punch... it was far closer to a "hollywood slap," more along the lines of the Three Stooges. It has fakery written all over it... remember.. with the Oscars' ratings long in the tank and getting worse with each passing year, the producers desperately needed some form of "drama" to spike the viewership.
You could hear that.
A slap thrown like a right-cross is pretty serious. That fact that Rock didn’t go down leads me to believe this was a “Hollywood” punch. Rock rolled out of it because Smith tipped it. It was all a setup.
Will Smith is probably Bi. Jada may be straight, but I doubt it. The whole marriage is one of convenience and provides camouflage for both.
Haven’t watched in years - the quality of the movies is abysmal and I see fewer and fewer people who look like me - except as the bad guy, Nazis or criminals.
Makes me wonder if this were scripted b/c viewership has fallen so low.

This thing about Jada having alopecia, NOT buying it. Recently, there was some story about Jada buzzing her head in support of her intentionally bald daughter. Plus, she now has a full-on crewcut with NO bald patches!

So let me get this straight, the Oscar producers are too inept to include an obvious in the news recent death (Bob Sagat)in their “In memoriam” section, yet they strategically planned having Will Smith rise to a JOKE to confront and physically attack a comedian and then sit down and shout profanity for the audience and viewers to hear thinking somehow that would inspire new audiences to watch in the future.
Then, Denzel Washington and Bradley Cooper were also “in” on this conspiracy for ratings and were seen consoling Will and his wife all to make this “staged” event seem real.
I guess some viewers think they really filmed Martians on Mars too.

Will Smith sucker punched Chris Rock, and I suppose is parading himself around as someone who protected his wife’s honor - by using dishonorable means. It was just trashy behavior.
Clearly the problem is that Will is embarrassed by his wife. He does not think her bald look is good. And when Rock mentioned it, Will was offended. He acts like he was defending her. He was defending himself. Being mentioned by a Oscars host is a sign of high celebrity. She was compared to GI Jane. People have taken worse without violence. But clearly he has a very thin skin and an aversion to hairless women.
Bingo - just a cheap setup.
If they actually wanted ratings, they could bring in Ricky Gervais :D
