Yesterday, Twitter suspended the account of satirical site The Babylon Bee for a post that jokingly named Rachel Levine, the transgender Assistant Secretary for Health, “Man of the Year.” Here, editor-in-chief Kyle Mann, co-author of “The Babylon Bee Guide to Wokeness,” explains why he isn’t going to back down to the social media giant’s demands.
Well, it finally happened (we’re kind of surprised it didn’t happen sooner): The Babylon Bee has been locked out of our Twitter account.
The satirical article that offended the Twitter overlords? “The Babylon Bee’s Man Of The Year Is Rachel Levine.” For the simple offense of labeling a biological man a man, through a satirical headline, we have lost access to all 1.3 million of our followers on Twitter.
A world where you can state a simple biological fact and face censorship, the loss of revenue and your livelihood, and excommunication from the public square for stating truth, no matter how satirical tongue-in-cheek your tone is, is a scary one indeed. As the famous Ron Paul saying goes, “Truth is treason in the empire of lies.” Twitter claimed the account violated the rules against "hateful conduct."Twitter claimed the account violated the rules against “hateful conduct.”Twitter/@SethDillon
Boy, are we feeling that today. (Can I still say “boy” or will that get me banned too?)

I watched this on Tucker Carlson last night. When you try to suppress satire or humour, you make yourself even more vulnerable to serious backlash or challenge.
Levine can lie to himself and to his sycophants, but he can’t lie to God.
That’s keyboard-spraying funny, right there.
Playing “Make Believe” is for children, time to grow up.
If you have to compromise your values in order to comply with Twitter’s rules of censorship, then it’s time to tell them to take a hike. Today, it’s a badge of honor to get tossed off Twitter. Never had an account, never will.
They offered to reinstate me under certain circumstances. I didn't bother.
Rachel Levine IS a MAN no matter what the crazies say. It’s time we stop using their “pronouns” and playing along with their mental illness.
Exactly, honesty is the best policy - call him a man pretending to be a woman.
Playing “Make Believe” is for children, time to grow up.
Thanks.
I’m borrowing this as my new tagline.
I posted on Facebook a satire article once and they flagged it as “partly false”.
It’s satire, you dolts. OF COURSE it’s “partly false”. The left seems to have no concept of a sense of humor these days.🤣
I wonder what would have happened if they had named Kamala Harris as the man of the year. I would bet a billion dollars that would be seen as a compliment.
Let us all tell them to take a hike. I have already, and included FB, Instagram, youtube, etc.
Dang. Too bad I can’t boycott something I never belonged to.
The only social media sites I tried were Parler, Gab, and Gettr. I rarely used them, and deleted all three in January. I never used my iPhone to access those sites either. Just visited them on my laptop. I tried to sign up for Trump's online site, but continually got error messages, and since they changed the homepage there is no where to sign up now. If they ever open the site again, and let you access it via a computer, I might check it out. Personally though, I really don't understand what people get out of those sites.
Remember in the 60’s and 70’s how the left said it was okay for a kid to play cross dress and the came the stretch arm strong doll looks like it took a long term hole on some kids.
Don’t let you boys grow up to be a girl.
Communists have no sense of humor.
That’s what occurred to me too. The Bee should now make fun of Twitter for the ban. They’re wide open to it, having tee’d themselves up...
That thing is male, that’s for sure.
But it is most definitely NOT a man.
