What an embarrassment for the Son of Fidel and his very jumpy sidekick! After grandly announcing that protesters' bank accounts would be frozen they had to BACKTRACK completely just days with the announcement that those bank accounts would be unfrozen. Why? Not because they were enlightened about human rights but because their dopey decision caused a financial crises in the Canadian banking system.

As if U.S. banks are any safer with Biden (Obama) at the helm here?
2 What if’s.
1 What if Canadians, in large scale move from a credit based economy to a cash only.
A. How fast could Canada print money to support this?
B. What is the loss the Gov can expect from undeclared/ un
taxed, under taxed transactions? (i would expect it to be
a HUGE number)
2. If Canadians lose ALL Faith in their Gov, and by
extension their currency. And move to USD only or a non
gov currency Bit coin economy?
In either of these situations. Does Canada’s economy collape? And is their ability to Buy/Sell/ Lend on world markets stopped? Would countries holding loans cal in their debts?
Typical checker players. Couldn’t see down the board a couple of moves and realize 1) the truckers represent most of us and have a legit beef and 2) hey, that could be me next.
Bank run ensues. I guess next is a good game of Indian. OK, lick the back of your cards and stick it to your forehead.
Personally I'm thinking of buying a waterproof/fireproof safe that I can bolt to my basement cement floor, withdrawing all my cash from the bank and putting it in that. No way in hell I want this mis-Administration to have any sort of control over my cash, my financial accounts, anything. All this tyranny in Canada just confirmed every bad thought I've ever had about our own Government. Thoughts that span decades and Presidencies.
There seriously needs to be a national run on our own banks and show this shitshow of a government of ours just who really controls things.
I haven’t heard an explanation. At this point, I would be skeptical of anything they said. They can always fall back on “cyberattack...we’re working on it.”
Keep pulling your money out of banks, patriots. It is working.
I work for a bank and I can tell you that all banks really offer to their customers is trust. Trust that their deposits are safe and reachable at any time. Trust that credit is good and follow terms as agreed upon (loans are a form of credit). Trust that financial instruments and investments follow their terms. Once trust in the institution is lost, there is no reason any rational person would place any of their capital into that institution. Trust is everything. Tru-doh just broke that trust.

People who heard the origionall witchy Friedland Anouncement
put on their hats , boots and coats , jumped in their cars and headed to the bank. They took out everything.
I MEAN EVERYTHING......savings, investments, the works.And they are NOT coming back, opening bank accounts outside Canada in other jurisdictions. ......Bahamas, The Cayman Islands, Panama...etc.
The Bannk CEOs panicked, and began dialing the Bank of Canada ( Canadas federal reserve.), and they shut down their banks.
"What international businesses will come to Canada now? Who will ever setup a new bank account in Canada now? Who will ever risk taking out a loan from a bank for business capital or even a home?"
And...
People are pulling their money out of Canadian banks, and probably letting them know why.

The Bank CEOs panicked, and began dialing the Bank of Canada ( Canadas federal reserve.), and they shut down their banks for a few hours.
The run is still happening , and people who do not Trust the banks and who are in no danger of having accounts frozen are pulling out. There is a huge exodus of capital from Canada to other US dollar jurisdictions where the Banks are more trustworthy and secure.
The Canadian Banking system is now damaged beyond repair.....as long as Trudeau is PM.
Canada is now on the way to being Venezuela II.

A simple explanation is the freezing of the accounts accomplished it’s purpose, the truckers went home. No need to continue the freeze.
Now in Canada, the Conservative Party appears to be more inept than the Republican Party in the USA.
I would be hammering Trudeau daily over this disaster.
I suspect deep down many in the Conservative Party in Canaday probably don’t mind that Trudeau is acting like a tyrant, they are pissed it was them doing the dirty work.

I really don’t know what it would mean but there are so many people who are angry that we may just find out. TruDope really stepped in it. I would never trust their banking system.

The left is so accustomed to having whatever they do defended by their willing accomplices in the propaganda media that they do not care how stupidly they behave. Possibly the most powerful tool that the propaganda media has is the power to omit which they will quickly do for anything that is negative for the left. The IRS can seize accounts in the U.S. although supposedly only for unpaid taxes....
Another fact is many corporations pay only through direct deposit or pay card.So you need an account to get your pay.
